    Of course, you take my post as an attack on Hande and an excuse for Busa, which it most definitely wasn't. Of course, you try to frame it like I said Hande was the reason they lost(which I never even insinuated).

    My point was that Vakif managed to win despite how poorly Busa was playing in attack. One of the reasons is that she didn't make many mistakes. If Franti was on the roster Busa wouldn't even be starting, let alone left on the court with those attacking %s.


    I just think Hande and Voronkova need to play better for Ezaci to beat tear 1 teams like Vakif. I mean they didn't even manage to take 1 set from them despite them having 1 player that was unplayable in attack, Gabi on her weaker day with 20% attack and 5 errors, and Tompson going with only 46% in attack. When I consider how poorly some of Vakifs players played this should have been a clean win for Ezaci, but they looked like any other middle-level team from the league last night. The reason Vakif won despite having so much worse stats is that they made fewer errors than Ezaci - 15 vs 34.

    Also, this is the exact same team as last year. Hande-Voronkova duo is just not gonna get it done. It should also be mentioned that Gray and Polish player weren't able to play which is basically all of their new editions so it's not like we saw Ezaci at full strength. But compared to last year, Maja at least had that connection with the MBs that was working when the reception was good. Elif and Naz basically forced P4 the whole game and it just wasn't productive enough.


    I think a lineup with the Gray-Hande duo and Beyza-Jack at the net might be the best they are gonna have this year.

    lol Bajema didn't receive a ball at all. Gabi and Aykac did a 2-people reception line covering 90% of the court (and Eczacibasi didn't bother to try to find Bajema's passing in that 10% of space she covered :aww:). I wonder what kind of stability she brought. :/

    :/:/:/:/:/:/:/???? They cover her somehow in the CL final but never before. She was receiving normally in the rest of the seaon.

    Ayca in a 2-person reception? Thats impossible. Maybe Gizem can do that but never Ayca. Btw, Bajema did in fact receive a lot of balls in the CL final. She was not spectacular at it but she never shanked any. She had 30 to Gabi’s 31. Ayca only received 17 balls.

    There's a pic on the CL topic of last season. She was totally hidden from reception whenever a good server was on the service line (for example Boskovic). And Eczacibasi had the ability to serve sweet cadies in her direction the few times she was available. That wasn't reception, those were like free balls. And still she had very low stats for someone who covered 1m of court IMHO. She didn't receive at all. Gabi on the other hand was outstanding.

    There were rumors about Huseyin Doganyuz leaving Karayollari but apparently they agreed and he will remain as coach.


    edit: Milagros Collar left Karayolları, hopefully they will get an elite OPP so they wouldn’t lose every single game
