Is kovo finally ditching the "Star" ball?
Yes, they officially changed to Mikasa.
-
Anybody watching the U19 competition? Really great game with USA, now in 5th set
-
Peppers and Hi-Pass are definitely out for the next round. I predict these 2 teams are going to be at the bottom of the ranking for the 2023/2023 season as well. Seems like Peppers have not yet improved to be as competitive as the rest, while Hi-Pass seems to be suffering from the power loss that they've had (middle blocker/OH position).

-

SEA V.LEAGUE is for national teams, but sometimes a team is formed by members of a particular club + guest players from other clubs, which is what the Philippines are doing for this edition.
Have a look if you have time...

What’s the name of the Korean player in the screen grab with Mega. The two seem to know each other well. It’s so beautiful to see. I think Mega will be happy in Korea...
-
Honestly, I don't know what their relationship is, but Bae Yoona has been playing for the national team since Rio Olympics so they may have seen each other in some of the international games.
-
Supreme giving a headache to IBK. Now its Supreme 2 - 1 IBK.
-
Huh, it seems IBK is letting their young players now. Lee Sola is playing as OH lol
-
Who could have thought that Supreme will win over IBK
-
they say Bae Yoo Na and Mega look similar lol

Currently watching the GS Caltex vs Hyundai match, and I can see that KOVO is trying out this panning shot angle for rally replays. Really dynamic and interactive. I remember they were also doing these dynamic 3d shots in 2020. Probably one of the redeeming qualities of Korean volleyball lol, because of the production
-
Hyundai is such a powerhouse of a team. Despite losing Hwang Minkyung and Go Yerim not playing, Jeong Ji Yun is transitioning well into the OH position, while Kim Juhyang is a good addition to the team (since she barely played last season in IBK).
-
Another player is injured. Choi Eunji seemed to have rolled her ankle while trying to block Yang Hyojin.
-
Wow, I went out to do something for a bit and saw GS Caltex winning this match. Gagged
Kang Sowhi was phenomenal during this time, while Kim Jiwon is really doing so well as the main setter for this team.

Before Lee Dayoung left for France, she held a short press conference regarding the school "violence" accusations. Its quite long but you can read it here (through translate):
She completely absolved Lee Jaeyong of this controversy since they were not together in school (something everyone knew). She said sorry to those she has caused harm but the victims refused to meet instead asking for a settlement. They are still in legal process so she probably can't divulge much. But honestly, I doubt it would matter much given Korea's perfectionist society. They'd rather shun anyone with an "embarrassing" past than go for reconciliation. I hope Lee Jaeyong still gets to play volleyball given this but idk... I hope if this isn't resolved sooner they would consider living elsewhere and just play for other countries. Its fruitless if the "public" is your enemy.

just play for other countries
they can't anymore.
