These middle of the night matches have caught up with me. I'm feeling quite under the weather, not even going to try to surface for any 3:00 am matches for a while

Both teams play some very entertaining volleyball 
Unfortunately PHI lost their momentum entirely after that crushing loss in the 3rd set 
PHI did a great job containing Quynh today. But Nguyet Anh and Xuan put up some decent hits, and once again it’s the MBs that carried the offense. We also got to see the rest of the players - Le Thuy, Ninh Anh, Dinh Thuy, Yen Nhi, Thao (young OH Thuy Vi is the only one not put on court so far).
First game with a lot of playing time for Ytang. Too bad she was injured last week. I'm happy with how they performed today!

Her name reminds me of the essential oil Ylang Ylang that's very good for aromatherapy and massage.

Not that we've had enough of Anh, Quynh and Thanh Lien
It was a case of “ Sabai, Sabai” for the Thais today, against Indonesia....a relaxed and comfortable match for them as they won 3:0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-16), new OH Natthimar replaced Pimpichaya, Sutadta also came in for Chatchu-On occasionally and Donphon proved to be a capable setter. She played as an OH previously.
I really enjoyed that VIE v PHI match. Seeing my GF Nguyet Anh all smiles and Captain-y was beautiful. She rose to the occasion. She should be permanent Captain
But also this PHI Squad. It so looks to me that PHI has the players to raise up to the THA VIE level of SEA teams, they just gotta get their stuff together in terms of training and leadership. The two MBs (I forget who started, but) Ytang and Maaya were fabulous. The tall OP, Solomon, she's a banger. The OHs were rambunctious, setter seemed good and leaderly, and the liberos, especially the defensive one, entertained me a lot 
But also this PHI Squad. It so looks to me that PHI has the players to raise up to the THA VIE level of SEA teams, they just gotta get their stuff together in terms of training and leadership.
They made too many errors, which is understandable for a younger squad. The key to limiting team errors is to train, play, and grow consistently as a team. But from what little I know about PHI volleyball, I doubt they’ll get the chance to do that again.
