    How about being 20 years under armed conflict conditions? Or if one backs to even longer, as of Jimmy Carter era with Zbigniew Brzezinski because they funded Mujahideen to fight Soviet Union.     of course, I'd say being there and being allowed and being able to play is an achievement in itself for these girls. which is a good thing. I was more wondering why Japan didn't even allow some points in that 2nd set. nothing beats players down more than having 0 in a set. I'd say japan punched down a little too much in this match.

    Agreed. It was a little bit too much from the JPN team (speaking as someone who always roots for JPN teams). A while ago, I think in a high school level state-wide competition in the US, a basketball coach was fired because he let his team do something similar to this. There are more amicable ways to end a match like this.

    Kind of cringe to think about the Japan Argentina Afghanistan match. I guess Iwasaki served 25 times? She could have hit one into the net :white:


    I once saw Tamaki Matsui serve, I think, 29 times in a row spread over two sets. She served out one set from about 16 and then started the next set with about as many
