VNL 2024 Men’s

  • Thales sucks. Should have been Maique.

I will not take it back, Mauricio sucks. Brazil wasnt even trying today.

    I'm officially a Mauricio hater ^^

Not starting Lukas Bergmann, not good having only 2 players yesterday to start today.

  • WZP only 1 block for Brazil coming from Flavio

    % Efficiency

    1. Mauricio: -10.71 :woohoo:

    2. Lucas: 14.00

Yesterday's match, Lukas Bergmann had the highest playin efficiency at 27%

  • From this experiment, OH for Paris should be Lucarelli, Leal and Lukas Bergmann. NOT Mauricio Borges. I swear if Bernardinho picks him over Lukas I will burn his passport! :cup::lol:

Meanwhile the Seleção masculina de novos wins over Chile easily!

  • Well there is this picture going around about the OG roster and Luca Porro is in them. What surprised me the most os that only 3OH are included and two liberos. Not sure its true. But Bovo and Porro are 100% locked for Paris.

I don't know how much that leak can be trusted. I agree that both Luca Porro and Bovolenta are basically in, but seeing Sanguinetti seemed a little strange, at least to me.

  • i can’t understand De Giorgi’s choices. Bovolenta is clearly not ready, Mosca and Sanguinetti are awful (how the fuck wasn’t Gargiulio chosen??), Bottolo is abysmal and he keeps trying an out of condition Sbertoli that miss a pass every 3.

  • ah and Gaggini is clearly better than Laurenzano

  • Ugh no Lukas Bergmann against France. Adriano is in it should have been Lukas B.

  • Poland playing their starters vs Cuba today and not even having Janusz/Kurek with the squad yesterday vs Serbia is quite brutal... But! If Cuba had just won the direct confrontation earlier this week when they were 2-0 up in sets, this fact wouldn't have mattered anyway so congrats to Serbia on this deserving OG spot :flower:

such an important game for Poland!!

Yesterday, when Grbic kept rotating the players on court, I had the impression that he might want to give his home country's team a hand. It's just that the current Serbian team is too weak to receive this gift. Today, as expected, from start to finish he fielded an almost full squad against Cuba.

Anyway, Cuba was once in a very advantageous spot after an amazing week 1. It's still the same squad but it looks like a different team now. Today, they simply could not stage a fight. No wonder they crumbled in the most important matches for the last two editions of OG (vs Canada in 2021, and vs Serbia this week).
