Mandiraci could become a really great player. Just waiting for him to come to Italy, he was rumored to Piacenza but then nothing.
Gutierrez is the best cuban OH and he didn’t even get the callup. Such a shit organization.
Who is the japan OH you were talking about? I was eager to se Otsuka playing but I think he’s on the bench.
Poland is clearly the best volleyball NT as of now. Healthiest movement, great players and depth, 2nd men league in the world and expanding. They are just too good. -
Maarten was also very good in holistic view but it could be rarely observed so clearly, a game changer along with the 3rd set and this name is Nimir.

At least, this was just the staring point to gain experience and self confidence in VNL journey. If not the best, the 2nd best and we gained our 1st point. Hope and wish the best in the coming matches and rounds. Keep going guys....

No honestly, even though I have been a fan of Nimir since he was still a setter, I can't wait for the "Old Boys Network" to retire after this summer and let the youngsters get a chance. Right now we are way too dependent on Nimir and our play is very predictable. Happy to see Koops did great as a sub though
Kuddos to Türkiye, the two first sets I saw they were playing so well with service pressure and lots of middle attacks. I was honestly shocked when I saw that NL turned it around
for me they showed that they deserve their spot in the VNL and with experience they can only become better

Masato Kai. He was again the 2nd best scorer of their match sweeping Serbia (hitting 50% efficiency!)
Otsuka was the starter in this Serbia match. Not as clutch as Kai but had a solid match overall.

Nimir 3- Türkiye 2
Any ideas why coach didn't start with him? He didn't seem to be injured or anything
Our libero flopped again, I'm very disappointed with him. He had a good club season. But in both matches so far, he is the weakest link. His reaction time at defense is too long for a libero. And his reception is not solid neither.
Another disappointment is adis, he is not the clutch player as he was before. Getting blocked at most critical parts of the game. It is also partially arslan's fault, he doesn't have a good connection with adis.
I think we should try other MBs, Matic is not performing well neither, I hope to see emre savas instead of him. Although emre is not a good blocker, he can be very scorer
Only positive things to mention are mandiraci and bülbül. Both had a great start and I feel like vbl will be their breakout tournament.
Am I the only one who thinks Efe Mandiraci really looks like michiletto? Both facial features but also body shape, and playing style.
