    I turned off after the first set. Leon annoyed me enough with his attitude on court. Leon and Fornal can't play together. I wish Poland would go with Sliwka and Semeniuk. In case Leon has to be on court no matter what, then one of them with the former cuban.

    I'm still confused as to why Bernardinho is using him. He's washed and doesn't add anything to the team.


    Should be developing Adriano, Honorato, or Bergmann instead of wasting it on a veteran waiting to retire.

    I hope CBV sacks Bernardinho after this. He is making the team worst. What is the point of bringing Lukas Bergmann and Arthur if he isnt gonna use them. Lucas, Thales, Leal, Mauricio needs to be removed from the team. It should have been Lucarelli/Bergmann OH duo and Maique as Libero. Lucas and Bruno need to retire already.

    Borges played good against Poland in first round. And besides that Mauricio Borges is 100% in Paris as receiver oh. Bernardinho didn’t try Honorato who could do much better job than Borges. Bergmann still needs improvement on reception so I guesss Bernardinho didn’t try him because of that.


    The coach is just playing as safe as possible. In fact he already has a youngster on Opp position and Olympic Games it’s a different competition. In his defense Bernardinho has really short time with NT.


    Imo he is Justino try to deliver with this core pool of players that will be done after Olympics. Than he will try to make his own team. And Brazil has really good options after Olympics. Something that was missed since 2012-2024. This new pool of players seems interesting.

    From what I've seen with Bergmann he is way better than Borges in attack and receive. I remember Mauricio coming in and straight away he wasnt unable to receive properly

    You think L. Porro and Bottolo are locked as the remaining outsides for Paris or is there a chance Recine gets taken over one?

    I'm with VolleybalXL, it's more a matter of who's going to be the 13th player rather than if Luca Porro and Mattia Bottolo will make the cut. At the moment I see Porro ahead of Bottolo, but let's see what De Giorgi will do.

    I think it's either they take a potential sparkplug (Mattia) or a hitter that fits the system better (Luca). What's more alarming for Italy is if they don't find an explosive opposite tht can replace Romano who has been on and off recently.
