    It is obvious that Zehra is still a good player, just before she was really amazing and possibly one of the best middle players in the world why she 100% deserved all individual awards but lately she isn't just that good anymore so her individual awards don't make sense considering her performance.     Well I don't know about all these mental gymnastic, but my initial point was simple Zehra is simply among the best when she's on but right now she's giving undersized to me. Though I wouldn't say she is overrated, her stats are generally not nearly as bad as everyone says. It's only because the expectations are so high.



    In Turkish league fe ppl are saying she clearly shouldn't have been best MB over someone like Jack but both in the league and play-off she was ranked 3rd best MB with Jack being 4th and 5th. she had 66 blocks last year and Jack 44, Jack had a better offensive game indeed but that's about it. I am also not satisfied with Zehra's game or attitude the past years but to act like she is below everyone now is a bit delusional too imo. She was just so great before.

    Nuh it is more of a wishful thinking from your side. Zehra has been one of the best if not best middle in the world for many years. She just had a tough season due to her injury. She is getting back to her real shape slowly. But saying that she is overrated is purely out of jealousy. Zehra was playing champions league final as starter at the age of hena and even then you could see that she is once in a decade talent.

    When Conegliano won against Vakifbank CL and WCH she was nowhere to be found (she even did mistakes in a crucial moments) and she still got the award. I remember during qualifications to Tokio in that dramatic match against Poland she was non-factor. Eda was always better than her.


    I am not here to start something, but saying she was the best or being close to the best is such an exaggeration.

Who should have they given the reward instead of Zehra? To stevanovic who finished with only 3 points and 0 block in a 5 set final game?🤦

    THats not true, when you look at overall performance including both club and nt games Zehra has been consistently best or one of the bests. Every player has bad games, whoever you call as best I can handpick one or two games she played bad like you did for Zehra.

    She had a long break so she is getting back to shape with playing more games. Considering all other injuries in the team, it is not a bad idea to play with her. She will not play 3rd week anyways so she will get her rest before Olympics

    Even you guys (Turkish fans) criticized her for not showing in important games. I am sure if Guidetti/Santarelli had to cut one of Eda and Zehra then Gunes would be cut.
