2024 Women’s Volleyball Nations League

  • Bulgaria I can believe.

    Germany I cannot believe.

Did Germany have the chance to play teams like Bulgaria, Korea, France yet?

I can assure you total frustration at DVV, players, coaches and fans here in Germany regarding the (non-)performance of our team in VNL.

  • I think each week, the teams play against 1 opponent from each draw group right? (1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16).

So in Germany's case, they have played France in week 1 (3-0 win), tonight vs Bulgaria and then week 3 they will end vs. Thailand! :box:

I just thought that the teams are just guaranteed to play 3/4 from each draw group in total for some kind of "balance"

  • So, in your pathetic mind if some says for example “Faking black referee” would be ok because he has a dark color skin. That thinking is exactly what the issue with you. Her ruling for a particular play has nothing got to do of being a woman or a Turkish nationality. Her ruling could be incorrect or wrong etc. but that doesn’t give you right to bring her nationality.

Except he didn’t say only “fuckin turkish referee” as you all are making it seem to be.

If someone says that then sure I would call it out first because it’s aimed at nationality.

Now, Turkish as an adjective in his post is aimed at describing what referee he is talking about, cause he doesn’t know her name. It should be obvious to people who are looking to understand and not to be offended first before anything else.

I can understand the confusion and the fuss about it but hopefully this doesn’t go any further cause I’m sure the user got no ill intentions behind calling her turkish other then explaining what referee he is talking about. We all don’t know her name and everybody knows her as “that Turkish referee”, as I know there are many others Turkish referees who are amazing at their job, unlike that one (I still can’t remember her name sorry)

Can we move on from this? 10 comments are more then enough and we can back to actual thread topic which is not about race or nationality.

Again I'm referring to THAT PARTICULAR ref who happens to be turkish and has history of incapable refereeing.

If I say THAT fucking chinese coach people including asians would likely agree and come talk shit about him as well

Now if I use the word turkish I would probably be insulting the whole nation or race or ethnic

  • I just thought that the teams are just guaranteed to play 3/4 from each draw group in total for some kind of "balance"

Yeah this balance per week was just an epiphany I had yesterday when I realised that for us, Bulgaria - France - Korea are spread out per week as well as Germany - DR - Canada  too many changes in de top 8 rankings to remember if it works for those teams too, but at least I remember that each week we have 1 "must-win" match, 2 "nothing to lose" matches and 1 "if we wanna make OG we should win but could go either way" match lol

  • USA I am begging you to not flop just this one time

  • If I say THAT fucking chinese coach people including asians would likely agree and come talk shit about him as well

Tbh maybe its just cultural difference, this is indeed disrespectful and racist to me, growing up I just never communicated in that way I guess, so it's wrong to me. The only memory of people speaking like that were racists, so it's an easy association to my brain. Then again I wasn't able to physically say F* even for so long 😭😂 So yea.

Let's go Turkiye, today's match should be exciting. USA lost against Poland but they looked not that bad and Turkiye has been messy.

  • I predict Italy and Brazil in the final this year

Danesi say that and all turkish fans were mad on twitter why not counting her team

But both are teams with history in big titles as wch and olympics so it makes sense that they could make olympic final

You didn’t answer my question so in your mind if THAT PARTICULAR ref happens to be black then it is ok for you to say “THAT BLACK REFEREE” IN A VERY NEGATIVE WAY?

For the second part of your argument is totally an assumption on your part, that is totally dependent on how you say it, when you say it, etc.

Look I am going to give you the benefit of doubt and except your reasoning as not been racist. But do yourself a favorite please be careful what you say and how you say it. Words has meanings, and on this day and age where everything is on social media it could affect persons job her reputations and etc.

I am going to move on from this non volleyball argument and continue to wait excitingly for USA vs. Turkiye game. Let’s just move on!

Turkiye has been messy but USA as well. So let's see!!!

Still what are you trying to defend? What are you selling there? Are you trying to teach us literature? You had better learn first. If you are trying for manipulation, then you can manipulate only your low IQ and your sick minded friends. Nothing else.

If you don't know the name of that Turkish referee learn it now. Her name is Prof. Nurper Özbar. She is a human with a title, which you can see it in your dream only, You loser.
