For your information: in the first match in pool A Switzerland defeated Finland in tie-break, in the second match Germany won first set against them there just 36-38 (!), before prevailing as pool favorite in three sets (but Germany is without Weitzel, Stigrot and Kästner, likely because A1 start is not so far away and Kästner may still need some rest). Germany will host Finland this Thursday. In some way it is really a pool of death...

I have no idea what's going on with their federation but they withdrew from European League and now Eurovolley qualification.
It's probably money problem so I don't think they would go to WCH even if they've been qualified.
Their federations sucks, girls had to sleep in some basement on last tournament they went to. Players and public have been very vocal about it but not much has changed.
Basically someone in federation puts all money in their pocets and budget for competition is 10€.. some years back they told the players they can’t pay for transportation eventhough spendings of Bosnian Federation were in 100s of thousands € for tournaments, allegedly
and still nothing was done about it to this day. -
Germany has sent a B/C (?) team to Q match against Finland and are now 2-1 behind.
