Where can I find stats of Japan spring high school tournament?
They don't really keep them. Just the results of the matches.

too many matches at the same time for them to concentrate on.
Here’s the highlights of Haruko Finals:

Miku Akimoto is a monster. There’s no doubt she’s the next face of Japan Women’s NT. She plays all positions except libero and setter.
Now I’m confused what her role will be in the pros and senior NT because she also receives. I know she’s an OPP in the U-NT but there’s currently a lack of tall total package, i.e, tall OH. Plus, there’s already plenty of contenders for the OPP spot—Kurogo, Valdes, Wada, Furukawa, Chuganji etc.
I’m sure she won’t be a middle because they don’t wanna waste her ability to score OOS.
As for her future club, if she’ll be an OPP, I think she’ll go to JT. If she’ll be an OH, she’ll be in NEC and replace Ajcharaporn and become their next Koga.
Or, she can also go to Himeji to be an Opp there 🤣
Sanspo article mentioned her going to SVLeague. Other 2006 key players Omori and Nishimura are rumored to go to University.

Oh yeaahh I forgot about Himeji! I guess she doesn’t wanna be Wada-fied in JT so it’s etiher Himeji (OPP) or NEC (OH). But I’m sure her mom’s gonna help her choose the best option given her connections in Himeji and experience in JT, NEC, and Hisamitsu hahahhaha
Wild wish, hope after 1 or 2 seasons in Vleague, Akimoto jumps to a low to mid-tier Turkish/Italian league. Need to train against taller blocks and more hard-hitting serves. Hope she won't do the same mistake that Koga did...
In the semifinal, she had 42.
In the 3-0 final, she had 35!
She has to be in the all round position with some team, let alone NT.
One reason is because of the height.
Mayu or Hayashi might be a bit undersized, but great passers as your other Outside hitters
Wada, Kurogo at Opposite
Seki at setter
Airi Miyabe and Yamada or Araki at middles.
Kojima at Libero
without injuries, this would probably be the LA 2028 starting lineup.

I don't think Seki should be entrusted with main setter again she can't even set well to Gabi
Are there any promising tall or talented new setters?

Momii 🙂↕️ THE V.League champion rookie setter. She could’ve been the one in Imoco/Italy/Turkey. Girl can surely block those Euro OHs.
I hope she redeems herself just like Kurogo is doing now.

I saw in Volleybox she is playing in Athens. How is she doing there? I hope she is not going to a Lee Dae Young route.
can we safely assume that news of head coach will come as soon as nt starts and that there's a high possibility of it not being yoshihara anymore

We can safely assume that it would be an absolute waste for JVA not to consider Selinger at this point. He understands Inoue and at Inoue's age probably not many coaches would gravitate to which I suppose is also thanks to Manabe but whatever he's not the one coaching her in Himeji. And if he could do that for Inoue he might even get Kurogo to be better again, if it doesn't go over her head that is.

i dont follow the men's division religiously but i keep seeing news of the coaches of the top teams and they're all foreign coaches. meanwhile jva refuses to try anything new with the women's team. gotta keep it the dusty japan way of losing since 2017.

I wonder what Megumi Fukazawa scored in her last Shujitsu Final. I bet it was close to 30. Too bad JVA are such shitty internet assholes and just broke all the links to everything prior to this year or we could look it up
Ha!

Megumi had 36 (34,1,1) in a 4 set match, so not as cool, but 36/4 (9) is better than 42/5 (8.5) but we'll call it even because 5th set is short
Selinger getting a division 2 team to winning the empress cup is very impressive. He understands the Japanese team so well.
I thought Inoue said Paris is her last NT.
Selinger getting a division 2 team to winning the empress cup is very impressive
JT, Denso, Saitama, Okayama were all Division 2 teams until they were Division 1 teams, just like Himeji. It's more impressive that Himeji is only 6 or 7 years old
Manabe's done a great job building a team from scratch in such a short time poke poke
