I heard that Bjelica wanted to retire in 2022 but Caric and Savic was not in good shape so she stayed to help. Same go for last summer, Savic/Caric compromised their grown so she needed to play because we did not had replacement. Taubner injured herself day 1 if we remember.

We can discuss OH roster all we want but you can’t tell me Uzelac/Ivanovic duo isn’t locked. If we had Terzic leading this team we would see them whole next summer with Lazovic occasionally coming in if needed

if they can pan out as legit talents then we will be back on top. We need to put effort into their development as well by letting them play

Well, if you’d asked me, I would have chosen Ivanovic instead of Milenkovic in the first place. One could argue that she’s totally inexperienced, but sometimes experience isn’t everything—talent can outweigh it.
As for setter position, to me Mirkovic is so boring to watch, so I'd skip her and give a chance to youngsters.

Absolutely agree, although Ivanovic was not 100% fit after VNL so she was left out of friendly matches even.
Miljevic was better then Mirkovic this VNL in her first NT season so I don’t think any coach would consider Mirkovic a valid NT option anymore beyond filling VNL spots.

Nothing is locked, we are one club and one VNL away.
What if i tell you that at the moment, Ivanovic is in lajkovac with right hand/saka in gyps.

Sad but true, maja should have let it go years ago. Now probably drca will quit NT too and there's a huge gap after these two. Boskovic, aleksic, lozo, lazovic will still be around during LA. Next challenge would be adapt new setter and libero for next Olympic cycle (I don't think Jegdic is the answer)

It’s somewhat old news but Stefana Veljković is back as coach assistant.
She will begin in Serbian club- Ub (one of the strongest in the league)
She said that her role there would be to help develope young MBs and work to help the team overall in other apsects as well.
With Tijana Malesevic already working as coach, Jelena Blagojevic finishing coaching school and being part of NT coaching stuff, now we have Stefana Veljkovic taking the same road
Milena Rasic and Brankica Mihajlovic were involved in training camps over last 2 summers so maybe in future they will be involved even more.
I’m generally very happy about legends of our NT staying in volleyball and helping next generation. I wish Maja, Drca and S. Popovic would take similar role in future after they are officially done with playing carrier, who better to learn from then some of the best in the world on their position and idols to many young players in our country. -

I really wish she would join VNL camp next year just for 1-2 weeks, it could do magic for Perovic and Miljevic. -

No clue, she is not in the "media". If i am not mistaken, last time i seen her was with Drca and Ognjenovic at Meliha wedding

Yeah I meant join VNL preparations as a mentor for them, not as a player.
They aren’t so old that they can’t learn a thing or two from queen herself.
Miljevic even at 26yo still improved her technique drastically this VNL compared to what we watched in Serbian league..Perovic already has amazing technique so she could really use some Maja guidance for more advanced stuff.
If we talking about really young players then Drca is by far the best option for them. Maja has the most effective technique and imagination a setter could ask for, but Drca has universaly good school like technique that could transfer to junuor level players as a foundation for their growth.
Anyways, it’s all potential talk and wishes
Veljkovic is already in the business now, I just don’t like that club she chose isn’t one that has young MB prospects.. but it’s a start
