Polish NT 2024

    This ranking will be changing with almost each game, but yeah, its very nice to watch that we are so high in ranking. I hope that we will No go under this place:drink:

    Starting today, the games of polish NT will be available on free TV channel - TV4.

    The games against Serbia and Germany will be broadcasted by main Polsat channel.

    Centka has just got married, so this may be the reason of her absence. I hope she will replace Witkowska next week.

    I think this week showed that after Korneluk is locked, Lavarini wants to test as much as possible Alagierska and Witkowska. Alagierska was really good in the attack but much weaker in block but it’s hard to present good at Korneluk background. Witkowska today gave really good sub and that her short slide just behind setter head was 👌 I wanna more!

    It’s so interesting how OH position will be cast. For me Lukasik, Medrzyk and healthy Czyrna are locked. Healthy Rozanski also but that what gives Piasecka in reception is brilliant. She is the best Polish receiver (despite Lukasik reception is impressive lately) and I hope she will take Olivia’s spot. If Julita will go to USA she may be seriously considered as OG participant.

    If Stenzel will not recover we don’t have to be worried. I think Szczygłowska will be only better and better each week. And seriously, I think it will hard for Maria to take libero place if she won’t be 100% healthy.


    If Smarzek will not play in week 2, it means she has no chances. Gałkowska is the easiest replaceable player for Paris.

    Don't forget that Fedusio is in the race as well. She was always with the team for the last 2 years.

    I dont know every single polish OH, but i dont understand how Chyrna is locked for Olympics. She literally dont have 1 good game in last 2 years. Talent is there but no continuity at all.

    It will be hard to choose from all ours OHs who will be the best for Paris. Before VNL Rozanski and Czyrniańska were sure, but looking how played this week Mędrzyk and Piasecka its for now hard to say. We need to wait for end of all vnl. I dont remember when in the past we have such a comfortable situation with OHs position:whistle:

    IMO fight for 2 spots will be between Różański/Czyrniańska and Fedusio/Piasecka. Łukasik and Mędrzyk for sure are locked. Różański is the closest one cause she is Lava fighter.

    I think the same that it could looks like that! Łukasik is sure, I would risk that Medrzyk too. Propably fight will be as you mentioned. I only wonder what will be with Smarzek. I think that Lavarini prefer Gałkowska, maybe even not for performance, but for atmosphere. I believe that he knows what to do.

    Piasecka impressed me with her reception. I think it will be Lukasik, Medrzyk, Różański and Piasecka.

    only problem with Medrzyk is her sometimes shaky reception but I also hope she will be locked for OG..I dont think Lavarini will take Piasecka, she doesn´t have much experience but who knows..Pacak is not getting chance at all, I dont think she is considered for OG roster

    Well, I wrote “healthy” Czyrna 😛

    As Lava was always waiting for her (WCH 2022 and OQT 2023) it means he wants her and I understand that. But from the other side we didn’t have then so competitive OHs.


    I think Fedusio is already dismissed but let’s wait.


    As I remember Stysiak said they go to USA on Thursday.

    For me Witkowska can be a "joker" player as Mędrzyk. And she proved it last year in the POL-ITA qualifying match. Even in the last match against Japan she was very useful in a difficult situation after Korneluk's injury. I really like how many rebounds and good touches on the net Witkowska had. :obey:


    Moreover she is the only middle blocker in our roster who uses one leg attack (and thanks to it with Witkowska as a substitute player we can for example change our style of playing during the game).


    This is why I think Lavarini will take her to Paris. In my opinion the 3rd middle blocker will be Alagierska or Jurczyk as they are similar type of player.
