Polish NT 2024

    It will be first serious test for Centka and I hope she will do well. I wish Smarzek and Czyrnianska got a lot of chances. Interesting if Fedusio will be listed as libero or she is already healthy

    I would take Piasecka again instead of Fedusio, but ok, lets see what Monika has to offer;)

    Piasecka had her week and did very well, now it's Fedusio time and I can't wait to see her. If not Różański, one of them will be called for the 3rd week.

    I consider that Czyrna starts her comeback from this week, crossed fingers for her.

    I don't really know how come you guys give so much credit to a player who basically didn't play a proper game for a year. Czyrnianska was a good prospect but she hasn't shown anything to be considered 'for sure going to Olympics'. She should definitely get chances this VNL with Piasecka and then better one should get the spot. Even rozanski's place is not for sure considering how bad her season was. I don't think except lukasik any of polish outside players get a guaranteed slot in Paris roster YET

    Just because her ceiling is higher than all of them. I don't know what are you talking about when it comes to a year... She played very good matches against Thailand, Germany and Italy late September even though she was after a break. She doesn't need to be first team player but a joker that can come from the bench and win a match by herself.

    She didn't play in Eczacibasi because she was injured most of the time and when she wasn't Ferhat had not idea how to use her properly (playing as OPP or with a team composed of bench players only). Only if she will be healthy all national season long then there is no way she won't be in a team.

    If we had anyone serious there I wouldn’t be sure. But Fedusio is bad in NT and Piasecka is new. Czyrnianska proved she can be at least a joker in extreme situation. The other two proved nothing so far.

    Even with all those little inconveniences like Rozanski's misterious health issues and Czyrnianska being benched the whole club season and Gorecka coming back from injury, our OH situation is better than ever. I hope we can see Fedusio play, i feel like she wasn't given plenty of chances last season and she has the potential to add something to this team.


    I'm pretty sure the Lukasik-Medrzyk duo is locked for Paris, even though it's only been Week 1

    One will be cut or maybe all of them will go there as there won't be come back to Poland before VNL Finals.

    No idea. She is there. And I think that she was training today. They are checking on her and her availability I guess. Probably it wasn't anything serious. I was surpised because it looked like she was training normally during evening training the day before first match in Arlington and then on the next day during morning warm-up she wasn't available.

    I think there wasn’t even competition between the setters, cause Wenerska is the one who can calm down the situation and play accurately when Wolosz starts playing too fast. Both Kowalewska and Nowicka’s styles are similar to Wolosz.

Wolosz said in one podcast that Lavarini prefers to have one really high player on the bench, who could help in block + if not the injury, Czyrna was supposed to play in starting six last season, cause Lavarini sees a lot of potential in her.


    To be honest, I would take a risk and choose Szczygłowska instead of Stenzel. She is doing absolutely amazing. But looking at Gałkowska/Smarzek situation I hope it is possible.

    I thought Kowalewska actually had a real chance to make it to Paris because her style is similar to Wolosz that's why in case of injury, she can step in and run a similar game style. However I understand your point too, it makes sense to bring someone with a different style.

    I like Stenzel a lot, I think she is one of the top European liberos currently but I'm Szczygłowska stan nowadays and yes I copy pasted her name from your post🤣

    I really was wondering if Smarzek will play in another tournament but I am happy that Lavarini dont take Galkowska. And about Szczyglowska vs Stenzel, I dont sure for now if Stenzel will go to Paris. I hope Lavarini will choose the best roster.
