Poland - Tauron Liga 2024/25

  • I swear, everyone can coach these days

it´s like a former good player doesn´t mean you will be a good coach, maybe it works also other way - if you weren´t a good player maybe you will be a good coach

  • maybe not bad one, but I remember one psycho-fan praising her all the time on Polish league website under comments' section :wavy:

Omg. Yeah. He was everywhere, not only on polish league website, but on clubs' social medias like facebook or different volleyball forums.

  • Yeah I remember Kaczorowska being really hated by fans similar case to Grajber tbh when both were pretty weak attackers. It was sad because while she wasn’t good she was still ok especially when it came to serve and reception. I remember her float serve to be quite dangerous.

to be honest, she wasnt the best OH, but as I remember we didn`t have much better OHs that time. Maybe Elżbieta Skowrońska should has more time on court, but its past and I dont remember how was exactly. Plus for her that she was always in NT whe she was called and didnt take some weird breaks like Werblinska and other players.

  • Radom is so unlucky - after Stachowicz's injury, now Szlagowska is injured as well and she will undergo surgery. They will announce a new player who will replace her soon.

  • The new player is Maria Yordanova

I think she is a better player than Milos so I hope that she and Miilen will be the starters. Anyway really good transfer for such a late date.

For sure she's way better in terms of attack, but Milos was really good receiver few years ago.

I don't know what's the current shape of Milos, but seems like Miilen is doing okay with Estonian NT and Szlagowska will have really hard time to get any playing time this season after injury. So seems like another season on a bench for Weronika...

  • what a pity with Szlagowska:white: she finally join the team which has big chances for beeing starting player.

I wondering when or if Maria Yordanova will play in TauronLiga and finally she join, but pity that in this kind of situation. For sure she will help Radom :super:

  • so they managed to hire foreign setter, any news about her? I see she will be 19 years old this week!

Talented, but have this blackouts during sets when start bugging. She imagine she is Maja/.Wolosh and start with flashy moves and make a mess.

  • That's stupid. We have our own youngsters.

Do we have a good youngsters when it comes to setting? I cannot think of anyone really talented outside of our more experienced trio of Wołosz/Wenerska/Kowalewska. When they all retire from NT we can have a serious problem (I don’t really believe in Nowicka and Grabka is quite injury-prone).

better to give a chance to our players instead, how do you want to have a good setter in NT if we give the spots to youngsters from other NTs?

Wenerska and Kowalewska were late bloomers.

Clubs are not NT and often need to focus on having decent results to even exist. I don’t think there is at the moment any cheap good setter free so if that Serbian youngster is better than our Polish ones there signing her is a good option (especially since almost entire Police team are young local players).

It’s not like our young setters are not getting any chances since most of our clubs use locals at this position and players like Łazowska, Zaborowska or Bińczyka for example all got chances to play and didn’t show that much.

  • Mielec has Walczak and Janicka so young setters will have a chance same with Bińczycka. There will be chances
