And we have another retired player coming back. Tamara Gałucha (Kaliszuk) will play for Gedania in 1. Liga
Now, I'm only waiting for Weblińska's come back to Kalisz lol
well maybe as libero only

I understand having much less money but Chemik starting the season with only two OHs insane. I assume that one of the OPPs will be used for either left or right wing substitution (the only one) but still… Hopefully no injury will happen there.

Both Hewelt and Lokhmanchuk can play as OHs, so technically they have 4 OHs
Friendly game
ŁKS Łódź- SC Potsdam 3:0 (25:20 25:13 25:17)
Rzeszów will for sure struggle with their OPPs both Bruna and Machado are underwhelming
I'm rewatching the game between ŁKS and Potsdam and I must say that Kowalewska fits really good this team. I love her sets to Obiała.
Hopefully she will replace Wołosz in NT next year.
I don’t follow younger categories but I didn’t expect Fiedorowicz to be even worse attacker than Grajber lol
ŁKS-Developres 0-3 (29:31 19:25 16:25).

Kowalewska is 32, Polish national team must look for younger players, give them chances.

It is not an old age for a setter. She could easily take a full Olympic cycle.

She's very motivated to fullfil her Olympic dream.

It's not that old for a setter. She's the same age as Hancock, 2 years younger than Roberta, Marte and Ding Xia, 3 years younger than Macris and Iwasaki, 4 years younger than Drca (Zivkovic).
Setter is the most important position on the court, like the brain of the whole team and IMO it's just stupid to give somebody a chance only because that player is younger but way worse. It's WCH year and any result worse than quarterfinals would be a disappointment.
Friendly games
Pałac - Kalisz 3:2
Kalisz - Sokół 3:0
Pałac - Sokół 3:1
Season will start on Thursday, after so many friendly games it is a good time to write some predictions.
Firstly, of course the level will be lower. But it's hard to be surprised cause we have 5 polish players in Turkish League, 4 in Italian, 3 in French + Iga in the USA and all of them would be a great addition to the rosters + a lot of junior players who still play in the USA and many of them are already at a high level. At least there still will be a lot debuting, promising players, and a medal battle should be fun.
My predictions:
1 - Rzeszów (for sure)
2-4 - ŁKS, BKS, Budowlani (at the moment I reckon Budowlani won't get a medal)
5-8 - Radom, Bydgoszcz, Opole, Wrocław (but it's a total lottery, each of these teams has so many weaknesses, I feel like Bydgoszcz can have the best season in years if Łyczakowska delievers)
9-11 - Kalisz, Mielec, Police (2 really short rosters and the youngest team, if Chemik hires any strong OH, maybe they will fight for TOP8, but nothing more)
12 - Mogilno (for sure, just not enough power in attack and really short players)
Overall, there are no big transfers, most of the foreign players are just solid but nothing more. But we have 3 groups of 4 teams who should run fierce matches with each other, so it shouldn't be a boring season. I just can't understand Kalisz and Police's transfer policy. It is so risky to have rosters like these, I would hire any junior players just in case.
And of course I love to focus on second division as well - this year teams from Warszawa, Białystok and Piła should fight for the spot in Tauron Liga. 3 big cities, so at least more opportunities for sponsorship contracts in the future.

Would love to see Białystok comeback to TL after all these years

and Koleta Łyszkiewicz in Greece
and Koleta Łyszkiewicz in Greece
Lijewska in Japan
Lijewska in Japan
and let's not forget Kucharska in Bulgaria
Here are my predictions:
1. Developres - they have wide roster, good players on the bench. The only question mark for me is Chmielewska as backup setter.
2. Budowlani - I am a fan of Sasa Planinsec, so I need to give them higher position for that Usually they have financial problems in the middle of the season, but with PGE as their main sponsor they should be fine. I heard that Enweonwu isn't in good shape yet, but that's something they will probably figure out during the season
3. ŁKS - I don't buy Dani as their main opposite, for me she's like Ivna 2.0 Hryschuk made a good progress during the summer, but she's not experienced and I don't think she could carry the team in the most important games. If they will transfer better opposite during mid-season, they could win it all.
4. Bielsko - They made few transfers, but I don't think they are big upgrade to the team. Drabek spent the last two seasons on a bench. Angelina isn't top OH, and in Italy she got injured/benched almost every season. Plus, Laak didn't have great summer with NT and needs some time to adjust to club volleyball.
5. Radom - They will be a mess for sure. Seems like Yordanova might be their best transfer, but she can't pass the ball. Watching their friendly games, I was surprised how bad they are. Sometimes it looked that only Witkowska cares about this team. IMO If they want to make step forward in season 25-26, they need to find better coach, who will re-build this team.
6. Opole - They kept most of their players and I don't think that Diouf will be as good as Ana Karina. For sure they can challenge Radomka and fight for 5th place, but I don't think they could be final 4 team.
7. Wrocław - I can't believe I am saying this, but seems they have the best team since 2017. The only question mark for me is setter position.
8. Bydgoszcz - I am not really sure. They don't have any player who could make the difference. Of course the setters duo (Łyczakowska-Kuryerova) is better than Bałdyga - Gorzkiewicz last season. They have Dorsman as additional middle and Sidor-Rajlić should be a little bit better opposite due than Sikorska, but that's all.
9. Kalisz - They have few good players like Makarowska, Mazur, Faltinova, but their middles and opposites are average. I won't be surprised if their coach is fired before year-end.
10. Chemik - I heard many people saying they will be relegated, but IMO they won't be. They just want to spent most of their budget to cover debts from last season. In case they will be in danger, they will sign new players in December. Also, I read somewhere that they are working on sponsorship deal with logistics company.
11. Mielec - good coach, but less experienced players than last year. It all starts with reception-line and a lot of will depend on Mucha/Łyduch as Bagrowska/Adamczyk are not good receivers, but both of them are working to improve that skill.
12. Mogilno - They have too many coaches/managers/staff members. Instead, they should've looked for better OHs. Their advantage might be the fact that most of the players from last season stayed with the team. Also, their really small arena might benefit this team
and let's not forget Kucharska in Bulgaria
I wouldn't forget about it
There is also Marta Matejko in Romania, Kinga Wysokińska in Iceland and Rozalia Hnatyszyn in Austria (and like 100 players in US college system)
Edit: Justyna Łukasik also plays in Romania
