Poland - Tauron Liga 2024/25

  • I dont understand what polish scouts doing, if we talk about last 5 years, polish clubs never signed some player that dominated our league, or some good young player.

They mostly work with few agents for years and they sign the players recommended by those agents making some weird transfers.

Developres was an exception cause Antiga was looking for players himself. The same with Ferhat when he was coaching Chemik.

I read somewhere that Chiappini now is doing the same and 'his transfer' was Dani Cechetto lol

What can be the most shocking part of this information is the fact that Radomka's sports director is ex-volleyball player, Mogilno's president is ex-volleyball player, Bydgoszcz's president is ex-NT coach, Wrocław's president is ex-coach. In theory they should know how the transfers market works.

  • I remember that..and in 2009/10 it was Staelens who was hired to save Novara after Kirillova was playing horrible and in 2012/13 it was Ognjenovic who saved Wroclaw coming out from the break

She didn't save anything. They signed, she played like 4 games and one month later they found out she was pregnant. :rolll:

ok, so she was supposed to save Novara

  • anyone knows what happened to Stekovic and how long she will be out?

  • a little bit pity that Budowlani and ŁKS will meet in 1/4 , while Radomka has easy way to semi-final, but ok. I think the cup will go to one from semi-final BKS/Developres

  • Budowlani Łódź - Developres Rzeszów 2:3 (28:30, 18:25, 25:14, 25:12, 17:19)

    MVP: Agnieszka Korneluk

    Enweonwu 25, Drużkowska 21, Damaske 14 /// Machado 15, Jasper 14, Korneluk 14, Fedusio 14

Machado made 7 mistakes and was blocked 6 times - she reminds me of Szczurowska, who also scored a lot of points but was so ineffective.

  • Very nice game to watch! A little bit pity that Łódź lose this 5 set, when they had 2 or match balls.
Drużkowska finally playing like everyone expected from years. I hope that she will stay at this lvl. With her physical conditions she can spiking above the block, which doing yesterday. Her attack looks stronger (finally) than before. I will cross my fingers for her.
Terry Enweonwu was also very good in this game. I think she could be even better, but sometimes balls wasn't comfortable to attack.
anyway, I hope for more games like this :bump:

  • Also is Kwiatkowska really that much worse from Ociepa? I remember her playing great when she was in ŁKS, I know that years has passed but basically in every match she’s been a ghost - she can’t block and she doesn’t get any balls to attack.

  • I wonder if Michor will try to start with Baić the next set (or any in this season lol). Whenever she came in during double sub in the last two matches I kinda liked how she played.

    Michor changed...Lokhmanchuk for Hewelt :rolll:

of course not but is Ewa able to play full match with all her injuries?

Same, I want to see more of Baic.

And when it comes to Ociepa she barely ever gets sets but her blocking is not bad. I don't think Kwiatkowska is better at this point.

  • Makarewicz has really impressive spike reach
