Ngapeth as MVP??? Why these obssesions in awards??? Every season there are specific players who are favored unnecessarily. I'm sick of this thing. There are players who give their soul and eventually someone else gets the reward.

I’m fine with this list except Ngapeth as MVP & Best OH, it’s just disgusting.

Imo Romano was the best Opp and Anderson played good either. Didn’t whatch final match but Patry wasn’t great in qf and sf

France OH duo was athe main weapon together with Jenia.

The MVP is fine for me. But I would chose Clebenot or Jenia based on qf and sf

Grozer is definitely the best Opp by a mile ahead than any others if we look at the whole tournament instead of picking only those from winning medals. (And he had chance to actually win a medal if there weren’t those highly questionable calls that favored the home team in the tiebreak in QF)

Leon has much greater impact to his team than Ngapeth in all matches (and I am not even a big fan of him being the starter in Polish NT). It’s a crime that he wasn’t selected as best OH. The unsportsmanlike French guy on & off the court got the MVP & best OH only because this OG is played in France.

Grozer is a insane Opp but I didn’t saw him as a monster Opp in this Olympics . Actually I saw the German team more balanced.

Some choices for the dream team are questionable imo. I would have preferred Clevenot as a MVP

First of all, I would have also preferred Clevenot as MVP. He started the competition as a sub, but then he was the best French player in the medal stages, without a single doubt. Ngapeth also contributed a lot in the knock out matches, but his performance in the preliminary rounds was subpar. Clevenot was the game changer against SRB and helped a lot in order to tie the match against Slovenia coming from the bench. He was more consistent in general.

Besides his amazing vball technique, I think that FFF pushed Ngapeth as MVP in order to create the "goat" aura. Sure, two time Olympics MVP is a milestone.

congrats for France, they are without doubt the best balanced team now..Poland had their problems with injuries but I still think it wouldn´t be enough to beat France...on both sides there are players who I can´t stand with their behaviour but today I saw a replay of the match and It was once again Fornal who started all this staring in the first minutes of the match
