The cancelation was expected under the circumstances and it's understandable. The Korean people have been through so much in just the month of December alone !

Polish players are so tall

Honestly, Lee Young Taek (current GS Caltex coach) is just an embarrassment.
He did the same thing with Red Sparks (formerly KGC) where the foreign player is used to the limit. He doesn't know how to encourage players nor motivate them. 😒
-
It certainly was unexpected !
I watched sets 4 and 5 and it looked like a reverse sweep was on the way. You can see how much this win meant to the Caltex players, a few of them got really emotional... new player Tran Thi Bich Thuy appeared to be finding her way around with her team's playing style but at least she's happy too

Yup, hoping the connection with the team gets better as the months go by. So far she's a fast hitter but the setter to middle is the most important connection.
-
So far, Kim Jiwon (S), who plays for the NT doesn't seem to connect well with middles despite playing all season long. I don't know why but she is giving me Ha Hyorim vibes during the season she started with KGC (now Red Sparks). Lee Young Taek is also the coach and after their season she left for the semi-pro league. I honestly don't want a repeat of that, either because she felt frustrated playing for their team or because of the hate comments (because their performance is not the best).

Exciting match from IBK and Peppers! It was a nail biting 5th set, with Peppers winning!
It was really a tight match (with a lot of errors) but still very fun.
Peppers win their most games this season, and their foreign player, Taylor Fricano getting a Triple Crown! She had a slow start this season but she's finally acclimating with the team.

Some really crazy results over the weekend!
Hi-Pass defeats Pink Spiders in a 5-set game:
Peppers defeat Hyundai Hillstate:
2nd time Pink Spiders get defeated by a lower-ranking club atm. So far their opposite-setter connection isn't the best yet and they have a lot of errors (serve receive and serve).
Hyundai defeat is a surprising one. They were leading in the 4-set game yet because of Lee Hanbi's service ace, they completely turned the tide. This is their longest win streak (3) in the league! I like their gameplan now because they have two reliable OHs (Hanbi and yes, Park Jeong Ah!) that doesn't rely on the foreign opposite (who is pulling her weight enough).

Pink Spiders' losses to GS Caltex and Hipass, coupled with Peppers' strong recent performances, means Peppers will probably start as favourites against Spiders when these two meet on 16 January

Yes, and if I'm not mistaken, its a home game with Peppers as well. Hope they win honestly just to put a little spice in the games.

Lots of tears after the match, particularly Bukilic, who wasn't in her best condition. I really like that she stepped up as an OH even though she's an OPP. This is a good learning experience for her, which I'm sure she'll bring to the next club she'll join.

-
Right now, Peppers lead with 2-1 vs. Pink Spiders!
It seems the connection between the new OPP for Pink Spiders isn't the best yet.

I'm watching.... from set 2, and wondering how Peppers lost set 1 15-25
