Such an anticlimatic series, it's almost like the more Milano gets stacked, the less it seems to be able to get under Conegliano's skin. At least they tried to target Zhu Ting a bit more today, but they made much more mistakes and overall serving looked much less effective. Not a series for Orro, lots of questionable choices even when passing was fine. Very little focus with the game in the middle and overloading the outside attackers wouldn't have brought the team anywhere, even with Cazaute trying to keep the whole unit afloat.

The truth is that only Bosio could be compared with Wolosz this season and its a shame there wasnt a series for the third place because Novara really deserved it.

Novara put up a much better fight. The semi finals were soo fun to watch with high level, except for when Novara lost their steam in a few sets. Also it felt like the whole team contributed to making it good matches. That Milano was even near score-wise in some sets was mostly thanks to Egonu.

The Italian semifinals were much more interesting than the finals. Even the quarterfinals had more swings of momentum.
