One of the many missed opportunities by Milano, Conegliano showed glimpses of their usual level in the middle sets but today they weren't unplayable at all. A game in line with the ones played in the Scudetto series for Orro, I'm starting to believe it was more on Scandicci and less on her growth the solid run she had in the semifinals. Egonu was far from her usual level, but she had to adjust to a lot of sets. Nice game by Cazaute and I didn't mind Danesi, but it was to little to be a real threat.

Sad to see turkish league being so successful but the stadium today is more than half empty so far - it's nearly as embarrassing as Slovenia hosting WCH22 lol
Fair to say the people only show up to create a toxic/hostile environment and support their team but in reality have little interest in volleyball in general

Also I would prefer a Euroleague regular season system, so that there would be fairer and more competitive matches in the quarterfinals and final four.

It depends on how their ohs are gonna perform. Also Scandicci had the biggest break compared to the others, so let's see whether on not this affected them.

Tbh it’s hard for the Vero management to give Orro up. Vero built a team with nearly the same Italian NT, who won everything in recent two years, including the most precious OG gold. No one would kick away the starting setter who just won the OG with the exact same starting OH, MB & Opp aka the OG MVP right after it.
I’m not trying to defend Orro’s performance at any mean, but I just think it wasn’t Vero management’s fault to still have hope on Orro. Probably it just showed nowadays the level of competition between top clubs is higher than among top NTs. Orro and her folks were enough to beat other NT (and even in the most dominant fashion), but not enough to beat Imoco who brought literally all the bests on every position from the world. (They also failed to Tianjin though lol)

But I have feeling that Scandicci is totally out of stress. Reaching FinalFour for them was historical, they got nice rest lets see what they can offer.
At least I want from them nice fight against Vakif.
