  • Unlike previous years all new players in Stuttgart are announced in one newspaper article in the Stuttgart papers (paywall):

    https://www.stuttgarter-zeitun…a7-8e1e-2ca7663f9d90.html

All rumoured new players are confirmed:

    OH: Siftar,M.Robinson,Stautz (+Knollema)

    OPP:Martin (+Rivers)

    S:Bozic,Krenicky

    L:Reesink (+Koskelo)

    MB:Varela,Veltman,Morrissette

The contract with Martin contains an option for a second year. Renkema: "She could be the player that will eventually succeed Rivers"

    The same goes for Reesink.

Sounds like this might be the last season for Rivers and Koskelo.

About the OHs, Renkema says they are stronger in attack next season but have to work a lot to have good reception.

According to Renkema, Stuttgart have made a "concious decision not to pay higher salaries" next year even though salary expectations by agents have risen by up to 50% in the last few years and there is strong competition due to LOVB.

  • Julia De Paula is rumoured to join Bundesliga next season. She‘s very talented IMO, sadly Antiga wasn‘t using her at all. Hopefully she‘s gonna blossom in Germany. :rose:

  • Pia Fernau, Susan Schut, Sina Fuchs, Leandra Rixa Negri and Lea Ambrosius are the other 5 players leaving.

Yüzgenc to Asia, White to France, Baijens to Italy. Pogany to USA, Kästner to Italy

Thanks. The last I had heard was that it wasn't certain yet that Fernau leaves because they eventually didn't get Lazaro who seems to be headed to France, so the question is who will be the other setter beside Jaksetic.

So I hope this means Llabres is staying as libero? She was amazing in the matches she got to play, she won't be a downgrade to Pogany I think.
