Not surprising given their roster tbh.
Although I kinda feel bad for Chatchuon. If the stats were right, she scored 41 points and still lost?
So sad for her

Why isn't anyone else troubled by the abysmal reception numbers this year
Why isn't anyone else troubled by the abysmal reception numbers this year
Because it's across the board. So most likely it's just change of metrics or measuring. I don't compare it to the past seasons anyway, so I don't have much issue with it. I only compare players within the same season so it evens out. Not a fan of the records that compares different seasons for subjective stats like good reception (unlike attacking and blocking which is more straight forward)
Kawabata is really killing it Although I'm sad Fukumoto is just a sub in a few rallies
, she's too good to just stay as one when she's one of the best liberos in the league and can start in almost every team imo.

It's not as subjective as Serve if it's a stat that someone can be the record holder for, like Shinnabe was for a long time and then Nishimura topped it ... I would think if they changed the way it's counted they would make some announcement.
V2 stats are about the same as before. Top player at 78% and all top 15 are above 60%
Fukumoto is contributing with some good serves
Wada has such good aim, which I attribute to her excellent hang time. She's seems to be using it more to hit off the block when appropriate
I forget who pointed out the unwritten rule against colored fingernail polish, which I believe was true at the time. It's striking how many girls are painting up this year
Airi Furukawa improved so much, it's cool to watch.
Haven't seen a lot of Moeka Kinoe lately. She's smacking it. Nice to see
Mei Matsuoka
It's fun hearing this commentator enjoying the match. Defense really gets him
uh oh (kind of weird after they carry Yukiko off to a wheelchair they play "Highway to the Danger Zone")
I didn't see exactly what happened but she seemed pretty calm about it. So that's good
Couple high tension Tie-Breakers going on

She tried to hit an out of system ball which was set very close to the net, and she was out of balance. Probably ankle twist.
Sad for Ai Hirota. I believe that would've been a reverse sweep if Wada didn't get injured and it would've been Ai's breakout game/VOM moment if they won Wada is also at 18/35, 51% before she was down, so one of her better games.
Wow, Kurobe won without Stigrot?! and did Iris Scholten play as OPP again? (The stat sheet I found doesn't mention rotation numbers, but since Ukishima didn't start I assume Iris went back to opp - except perhaps for 5th set?!)
Meanwhile Lohuis again with double digits happy to see the Dutchies are doing so well (lately)!
Updating this after more than a month!

Saitama buying but not using the feels so weird for me. If they don't need why buying them.

Yes that's what happened. One thing I like about Iris at MB is that it puts her next to the setter as a block duo against opposing OH. They stumble over one another sometimes about who's supposed to be in the middle but when they land it, it's effective
