Speaking of Hisamitsu OGs
Shinnabe announced that the next series of "Volleyball Legends" that's annually approved by JVA will be her and Ishii. I don't think the men's have this.
1. Miya Sato and Ebata - big question mark at Miya Sato she's by no means a legend
2. Megumi Kurihara and Sakoda - weird pair
3. Ishii Shinnabe
Fourth will probably be Koga and Saori. And my guess for 5th will be Nagaoka and Miyashita as it should be.
-
why on earth would they pair ebata with a one time main setter who isn't even an olympian. that's a slap in the face

Do you know where I can find the stats of the players from the old seasons? I remember I could find the list of the players of the league with the years and clubs they played for and all the stats were there on the old website.

You can start here and stumble through the maze and try to figure it out
https://www.svleague.jp/ja/sv_women/record/match
If that's how you did it before, it's the same except different looking
However, if you have some bookmarks or something, you can use an old bookmark and replace the beginning. For Example, Denso Player stats of 22–23
https://www.vleague.jp/form/d/?round_id=333&leg=0&team_id=265
with:
https://www.svleague.jp/ja/sv_women/form/d/?round_id=333&leg=0&team_id=265
Does that make sense?

Oh wait, you are talking about the Team/Player pages where they had the stats at the bottom. I'm hoping that is something they just haven't finished yet, but it's not there now
Example
https://www.svleague.jp/ja/sv_women/team/list
https://www.svleague.jp/ja/sv_women/team/detail/283 (Toray players)
https://www.svleague.jp/ja/sv_women/player/detail/4900 (Sylvia)
Not there

The first post may help, but yeah, I was talking about the players pages with stats at the bottom to open.
Thank you.

Maddie Madayag, middle blocker from the Philippines signs with Kurobe AquaFairies, together with the 2 already rumored Kurobe players - Lena Stigrot and Iris Scholten.

Something I didn't notice right away but if PFU has:
- Natthanicha Jaisaen 172cm S THA
- Kashauna Williams 186cm OH USA
- Thatdao Nuekjang 185cm MB THA
Does that mean Melissa Valdes is no longer taking a foreigner spot, or is the rule that you can roster as many foreigners as you want. The 2/1 rule is only for how many on court at a time?

Melissa Valdes already played the previous seasons with Roslandy Acosta then Daly Santana at the same court where there’s only 1 foreigner non asian allowed so she has been not counted as foreign for a while now.
But also yes, you can line up as many foreigners as you like and the max rule is for those in the court at a time. -

Another casualty of this re-visioning process is we (or at least *I*) don't get to see the Empress Cup Block Round matches. I don't see anywhere they might be streaming. They streamed them a few years at that AI Camera joint VideoFlow, and then the past couple years on VTV
SadsAnd the Empress Cup Web site used to be one of the best. They ditched that during the pandemic and it's never returned. Now all we get is a timeline of fucking Xturds. Fuck that

jt will be fine. some teams with 2 foreign players can equal 1 of lise. plus jaja who i will still call jaja respectfully until i feel like finally calling her sachi.
still 2 thais and 2 philippines and 1 of them is only 180 and had an acl injury is sketchy. if gen kawakita can push kurobe as this season's dark horse that would certainly make things interesting.
my initial prediction list still stands and jt will come out on top.
-
still 2 thais
6 Thai players, and another 1 rumored for Gunma who is not yet listed here. I just didn't separate the Asian foreign players. In PFU's case, they got 2.
