After all, Russia has fought on different wars in Chechenya, Georgia and Afghanistan before that and no one ruled them out.     I don't think the current formula is problem. Even if the Formula was the same with Olympics: overall ranking of group stages, these would have been matchups for 1/16

    Italy-Canada

    China-Dominican Republic

    USA-Belgium

    Brazil-Serbia

    Japan-France

    Poland-Thailand

    Netherlands-Germany


    Turkey would still get Slovenia. Serbia would have still be eliminated at this stage. Only interesting matchup would have been Netherlands-Germany. Assuming all favourites would win their games, these would have been the quarter finals:


    Turkey-Netherlands

    Italy-Poland

    China-Japan

    USA-Brazil


    Again Italy would match with Poland. Assuming all favourites would win their games, these would have been the semi finals:


    Turkey-Brazil

    Italy-Japan


    Again 4 best teams would end up in semis. Only difference would be turkey playing against Brazil instead of Japan. So formula wouldn't make a huge difference for medal contender teams. They would have still end up in semis.

    But usa can attack or invade other countries with whatever excuses they come up with 🤷 Iraq (2003), Afghanistan (2001), Panama (1989), Grenada (1983) and Libya (2011) etc. These were also large scale cross border invasion with long occupation. USA teams didn't receive any ban during these invasions/wars🙄:aww:

In Croatia, the capital, Zagreb, wasn't bombed, nor was Belgrade. Only the USA and NATO bombed Belgrade in 1999 for Kosovo- conflict, but that was later. What Russia did to Ukraine can be compared to Japan once trying to occupy half of China before World War II or Nazi Germany attcked Poland and France etc. in 1939/1940.

    If the USA attacked, for example, Mexico and Canada and wanted to occupy them in their all teritory, I would agree with you.

    Mmm, I am not a witch apparently :lol::lol::lol: but I do believe that the match between France and China will go to tie break and Cazaute will be the first scorer of France.

    As for Turkey I expect them to lose one set but win the match.

    USA vs Canada will end in 3 sets and USA will take the victory.

    For DM VS Brazil I am not so sure but I believe that Brazil ( like USA) will win easily.

    China 3 - 1 France

    - China will win the first set because France has to adapt to the pressure of being in elimination round on this world stage. Also Stojiljkovic starting over Danard-Selosse who has been very solid will not help them to stay calm. They'll still come back into the game though, because Gelin digs like a Japanese libero, Cazaute will eat up that Zhang ZX block, and the younger age of China. In the end China will win because I like them they are more experienced in playing these matches - and France becomes a mess under the stress. It's either a service of Li YY or a block of Zhang ZX to close the match :heart:
