Japan 3x0 Netherlands
Poland 3x2 Italy
very optimistic results for pol x ita. I would take this result as well, but I thing it will be very difficult in real. Of course I want to be positively surprised![]()

What I think about Nervini is that: normal players are all a bit "stronger" when they play on a strong team. In the case of our NT ,in the best team in the world RN , like Imoco is in the club's season. Its a similar concept like Chirichella in her trasfer from Novara to Imoco.
I think stats that we have access don't mean anything but, since last season at Bisonte, along playing with national teams RN Nervini is better than an effective attack delta of +7%eff, and for me it also has a lot to do with who you're playing with
It's a Little bit easier to play for Moki Egonu's Italy, etc.,than in a team where u are the First offensive option the "go to girl " and u have to Attack 70 ball and receive 50 like Uzelac without Boskovic especially or like Herbots in Belgio or Alsmeier in Germania ec
So , First lets see her game in Chieri next season before making a claim that she have improved so drastically in only 3 months
I don't agree. Playing in strong teams is more difficult, simply because you have to be a better player, at least at the same level of your teammates. The strongest the team you play in, the higher are the expectations on your performances. If you are a weak player in a team of 6 you can easily undermine the choral effort. As the most inexperienced player in the Italian team Nervini has been the preferred target by opponents in reception, since the VNL final with Brazil. She has always showed by now that she can perform very well, both in defense and in attack. So her skills are undoubtedly very good and we knew that, because at a juvenile level she always excelled.
And about Chirichella, she's an outstanding player with tons o experience. At Imoco she forced on the bench an Olympic golden medalist like Lubian. There are few middle blockers strong as Chirichella right now in the world. In any other nation she would be a NT player.
Hoping for midget queens domination, Team Japan vs Jasper
Japan looks so tense ![]()
What a nice rally that was! Airi was key but nice dig by Reesink as well.
5 set up to Daalderop in 1 rally and she didn’t score the ball 🥲
Japan looks so tense
to say the least
I will say the thing about this squad I like is that getting out way behind doesn't scare me the way it used to
Koslowski waited until he was mounted before calling a timeout...
He's truly an absurd coach...
How he manages to stay at this level is a mystery...
I hope it gonna be long and high quality game. 5 sets for watching QFs would be great
Is that a "Mayu Ishikawa" song being played? 😆
to say the least

Agree, I'm not relaxed even with a 4-5 point lead because I know Japan will be able to calmly come back. Which makes this game fun
(not for my heart though)
NL like to win this set but zero points for Nika so far is amazing.
Lets gooo
Thank god we don't get swept again. And already more blocks than in the VNL match-up which started off this summer, when we had 0 ![]()
Van Aalen is wonderful today again
Japan played really bad and Yoshino hasn't showed up. If either of those things change Japan will be okay

I wonder if Felix dares to sub her today
Yoshino needs to be subbed. Maybe Kitty needs to be tried.
I wonder if Felix dares to sub her today
Dambrink is shining today with the fast sets. Whoever is faster than Vos or Kok might work.
As long as NL aims towards the lines, Japanese defense is struggling. It's the "potential dents in the floor" that Japan picks up
