    I think Macris and Kisy will be the lowkey game changers against Italy, I just hope Zé has learned from the Paris OG semis and doesn’t insist on keeping Roberta on the court if she’s not performing well

    Obviously stats don't tell everything but looking at the official ones, van Aalen is greatly leading the setter category and only Seki seems to be able to catch up with her in the extra two matches. Let's hope they'll give her best setter if she does lol. Reesink leadings digs is also surprising, but at the same time her and Jasper being so high probably tells the story of our WCH - chasing for every point :rolll: Mayu doing well in several categories so I'm rooting for her to get that deserved OH award :rose:

    I think that Japan was playing better in VNL than in WC, especially defense and pressure on service line. Without this Turkey can take advantage of they big weapons (Vargas and Ebrar) . Imo Turkey is the favourite.


    Italy is Also the favourite against Brazil. Especially that we cant even count with a bad day from Egonu because there is Antropova on the bench lol

    I think that USA's current form is a defeat for the international volleyball. The level had already been reduced compare to how the NT's were before covid but literally, this season we lost two top teams. Sullivan is terrible and made USA like a common team.

    As for France, they should be proud of themselves. They played great and they did their best. Despite the fact that score tells a ''different story'' this was a tough match against Brazil.


    PS. Regardless of preferences I do believe that Cazaute should be awarded as best OH. She totally deserves it. Is there an other OH in this competition that could score 20 points against Brazil in 3 sets with this reception and defense??? NOT EVEN CLOSE.

    Helena was awful against Italy u21, why should she make the difference against the main team?

    We saw glimpse of her vs Italy in VNL though she played good for the minutes that she had. And I think the setter for U21 Brazil was awful

    This is also an interesting story: a coach kept Cazaute as Nika’s backup for two seasons. I’m not saying Nika is a bad player, but Cazaute is one or two levels above her. I can’t think of a single aspect where Nika is better.
