I thought Iran benefitted from being in a weak group but they proved that they deserved their spot in quarters

I started one of my Fanta teams with NL/BEL players, added some Turkish players after round 2 but I might just choose the 3 best players for each of those 4 teams just to root extra for them

Today czechs played flawless with great serving pressure. Their setter distribute the ball way better than Serbia did today so it will be harder for Iran to stop them compared to Serbia. I'm not saying Czechs will win for sure but I expect another tiebreaker

We played without Amin, Milad, and Seyed against a full Serbian team. It was a tough match. With all respect to Serbia, whom I’ve supported before because of players like Atanasijević and Podraščanin, it would have been a shame if Iran had lost while being the better team in this match. I think the better team eventually won, although we should have finished it more easily

Mandiraci is not doing too well yet in my team but I got him already, also the libero and Bedirhan because I like his energy (and NL/BEL only have 1 reliable MB lol)

Thoughts before the match: Belgium look strong at the moment but I expect Italy to be prepared this time and to make up on their loss against the belgian team. Romano was decent vs Argentina but he needs to be more for Italy to have a chance. Looking forward to a great match!
