Come on Bulgaria do not make silly errors now

Hopefully we will see CZE in VNL in 2027. I don't feel like they can grab the bronze medal in this tournament, but they really deserve to be awarded by promoting to the big stage.
Every now and then CZE can put together its best players and make an amazing tournament. I remember when they won the 2004 European League winning against Russia with Khtey and other star players.

Bulgaria in the final and gets a medal

. Alex Nikolov is the king of OOS

That serve error to end the match defines this game. Bulgaria gave a set worth of points with their errors. That could've been an advantage for Czechia but they responded too with 21 errors. Ugh.
-
What a run by Czechia and Bulgaria!!! Hope Bulgaria wins it all. Nikolov brothers are the real deal (and they are cute as well 😶)

Oh yass me too. Those bee stung full lips 🤩

Bulgaria's victory or not and whatever the "criteria" that the FIVB uses to award the MVP, Aleksandar Nikolov is the UNDISPUTED player who should get the award....
I think we should all agree on this at least...

Ι do agree on that but if some player from Poland or Italy deliver monster performances and lead their team to victory then they will deserved it too. Generally I totally agree with you. Alex is the best player of this tournament. His team relies too match on him and he led Bulgaria through fire in order to get a medal while the big favourite Poland will play their first tough match tonight. They must not think like that but no matter the result Bulgaria has already won. They had the most difficult way, the play top level matches, they gave big and numerous fights and they earn the love of the fans.

Has MVP ever been awarded to two players?

It's him or Semeniuk (and I prefer the polish TBH), depending on the winner of the gold medal, but FIVB will do fanservice again and it's easier they will give it to Leon or Giannelli (even if Italy ends 4th). If it goes to Nikolov vs Semeniuk, the bulgarian is way more popular with all the reels and tiktoks about him and his brother...
Remember I predict Orro stealing another award 2 weeks ago, in the middle of the final...

Poland without Kurek today.
-
I wonder if best Czech player Dzavoronok will now come back to NT but I doubt it after what he said about the coach..with him they could have better chances, Galabov is not for this level

Dzavoronok was awful at the ECH 2023 and recently tore ACL, he wouldn't be an upgrade there, not to mention his character.

Still potential is big there, character is second thing

It seems stars are allining for Italy.
Poland is ridicously strong, but no Kurek + half injured Fornal + their usual weaknesses (passing and setting) may be too much.
-
10 vs. 12 errors in set 1, yikes
-
Βottolo is a disaster in the attack...
