Semeniuk is OUTSTANDING. ![]()
He's the only one killing those awful sets to pos 4.
Take Giannelli out. Now no one can kill a single ball from pos 4. ![]()
Semeniuk's technical skills are pure pleasure for my eyes. MVP of the game.
Perugia picks up from where the team left last season bringing the Supercoppa home. My impression is that most of the teams are still breaking in and it will take a while to see the real level of the top teams, nonetheless I've seen some good rallies already. Once again Perugia seems to have an edge compared to the others, but if Trento had learned the lesson from last season they might have a real chance for the Scudetto. Curious to see who will play the role of Monza this season, because there are five or six team that can go beyond expectations.
Milano placed 3rd last season, did they gave up their slot to Piazencia in the Supercopa?

Nope. Piacenza qualified because they were ranked 3rd in regular season.
a good game between a not so good Padova against a not so good (but could be REALLY good) Lube.
A note: my man (and one of Realista ’s players) Shay Liberman made his debut today.
Yeah, I think Lube can be a surprise this year: Boninfante is pretty solid already, so with Podrascanin and Nikolov I believe they can be a 3rd force of Italian league this season. Now, without Nikolov, Podrascanin and with injured Chinenyeze, they'll be fragile. Disappointing game by Padova though, especially by Porro and Liberman, but I think they'll show plenty of great volleyball this season.
Considering they were a bit remodeled, not a bad effort from Verona in Perugia. The battle for third place will be interesting.
You Energy Piacenza is the real rival for Perugia this season.
Trentino won't go anywhere with an occasionally good Lavia. Mandiraci and Maar are crazy good and Kovacevic will reach is best shape soon.
There was a russian link for the games, is there anyone to send it again, i lost it

Good game from Monza too, considering they changed a lot from last season. I don't know if they can be as flashy as last year, but they may be able to live a solid season.
i don’t believe in Monza honestly.
good game by Milano against a really terrible Lube, not an high quality match whatsoever. I will suspend my judgment for Lube until I see a full team with Nikolov and Potke, while we were sometimes good, but terrible distribution to the MBs by Porro and a shaky blocking game.
I have high hopes on Schnitzer, and I think Larizza’s going to take Caneschi’s place. Piano is already retired
Who is Favourite to be in Final ?

do you happen to know why Zaytsev and Averill were not on the roster for Monza?
The italian has to wait to play, because he was signed late. No idea about the american.
I have a feeling Brizard is not good at setting left handed spikers on pos. 4
Since he took the starting position in NT, both Lyneel and Rossard struggled till the point they lost their spot on NT (Lyneel even retired).
Now he's wasting a lot of possible break points because of his lack of connection with Kovacevic (that looks in better shape today).
I don't know if they would've had a real chance, but surely Modena buried themselves with that many errors yesterday, especially considering Perugia was doing some turnover and conceded something.
