We’ll, that’s life. Turkey lost 5 games and finished 4th. Poland lost also one game and won against Bulgaria and still Bulgaria is the champion. They won when it mattered the most.

Oh right! I remember Castillo got like 4 individual Awards and Lena mollers was the best setter 😂 and most of the Dominican girls looked like U23 at best

A knockout tournament doesn't guarantee the "best" team wins. It never has, never will.

If you want the "best" team to win, you need a fair, complete round robin.

but that's not as exciting.

Guys come on. Every tournament is like this, and criticizing the tournament's formula doesn't make much sense. For example, in the 2012 Olympics, Brazil lost three games and won the championship. The only loss the USA had was the final. Every tournament without a league system has results like this.

I think the old group system from the 2006 Senior World Championships was okay. There was a lot of play, 2 groups phase, but every result, set, etc., mattered. From the start, you had to play seriously.

Maybe zetova should consider this U19 libero for senior team. In zhana todorova s absence, their vnl libero played quite mediocre

But also she should look at Kalina Veneva, Darina Naneva and Denitsa Angelova to train more with women's team and to prepare Dimana Ivanova for main setter after some years.

Last season she played for CSKA Sofia but from the new season she will play for Levski Sofia - second best women team in Bulgaria after Maritza Plovdiv.
