What humdinger
Reverse Sweep

Now go watch the boring pros in V.League for a while
Aoyama v Kaetsu in 30 minutes or so. I'd peg Aoyama as a much better team but Kaetsu's got that super underdog energy going on. I wish I would have watched them more closely
-
-
Aoyama's probably got the most firepower in the tournament. Thank gosh #23 Yuriko Dobashi came along so Karen Edokuporo could go back to MB. She was a fail at OH, imo
Plus they have a lefty MB, Captain #1 Kako Yajima (sis of Shiga's Risa) who slides left. That's gotta weird the other team outShe's not a power MB but you can tell she's the heart of the team
And of course Misuzu -
Kaetsu's got their underdog happy camper shorts on. Overtime set 2
-
I don't think Aoyama is going to lose, but they've been outplayed for a set and half by the jumpy shorts
-
this is a big bag of fun match. I love seeing a team playing on pure party favors. If Kaetsu holds on 23–20, we got another Tie Break
-
Tie Break
-
Aoyama is trying to steal Kaetsu's thunder by out-celebrating them
-
Kaetsu 4–10 to 11-10 to 12–15 ... A wild ride, more fun than Tsukuba/Tokai but not as nerve racking
Semifinal Results
Tsukuba
3–2
Tokai
Aoyama
3–2
Kaetsu
Should be a good Final Day
-
No idea if UNIVAS is going to livestream the Final Matches. I think they are not. Also no idea what time they might start. I believe boys and girls are all on the same court, no idea who goes first. Maybe this information is buried in a tweetbox somewhere
Awesome!

I just looked at last year's All Japan and they started with multi-cam and closeups at the Quarterfinals. I imagine they will do that for the Final and Bronze but what a drag missing respectable coverage of the matches of the past couple days
Still no idea when things will start tonight and/or whether they will be available live
-
Boy's Bronze is in set 3 (1-1), so I'd guess Girl's Bronze in an hour or so?

Girls are warming up. I'd say start time around 12:00 JST, maybe a little after
-
This is a whole new ball game when you can see faces
-
These commentators need to calm down a bit. Their over-excitement is distracting
-
Kaetsu out-playing Tokai, which means they get the lucky bounces to boot
-
Tokai looks warmed up now. Going for a reverse sweep
-
Tokai libero is saving the day, and their big #11 MB is cuter than expected
-
Tokai looks warmed up now. Going for a reverse sweep
I'm with you on this one
