Aoyama has better stamina and more experience. I hate when that happens
My last shot at a reverse jinx is to to call this one over at the side change. Juntendo, it was great knowing you
It very nearly worked...

ikr I had my speech already written, but alas ...
Tokai and Chukyo in a Tie Break
And Kaetsu 2–0 TWCPE
Tokai 15–13 Chukyo
Wow. Chukyo played with gusto. I only know one of their players, Kaede Tokuoka, because she was the beauty queen of Mie HS a few years ago when they had a good run with a good team before Japan put HS VB behind a paywall
As for Kaetsu/TWCPE ... I won't be surprised if get another QF reverse sweep
Tsukuba OH #10 Akane Abe is back to full strength and really stabilizes the team. She has a tough guy strut I like. She missed a lot of the last several months, including the Eastern Zonal. Was Niina's HS mate at Furukawa
I wasn’t able to watch but I’m really happy Akane Abe is back 🥹

That Rin connection with Niina, running attack etc... I call it Seven Eleven.. seems to work most of the time
Tokai takes the first set , and they look pretty good to me. Solid lineup ... They seemed so lost ever since Haruko Sasaki graduated and I haven't been paying much attention. Sort of like JT Osaka. They will always have good players but who cares, unlike Tsukuba who always has good players and you care
Seems they've finally settled on juniors #12 and #13 as OHs. Big fan of both of them since they were freshman.
#13, Nozomi Kohiro, played with Tokyo Sunbeams last season. A no knee pads speed server . #12 Urara Yamamoto, won Best Spiker Award as a freshman OP, and then didn't play much last year. Yuna Campos is playing OP. I haven't seen her play much but she gets pics and articles in vbm as someone to watch
Emili Iiyama and some other big MB I don't know, with NEC's Tsukasa Nakagawa's little sister, Satsuki, at quarterback. Don't know any of the liberos. I love the name Satsuki
Tsukuba 23–22 in the second set
This might be a tasty match
Holy moly. Come from behind win for Tokai Set 2. They were down several points getting to the 20s
I don't know who that #21 is who just aced the set. I'm going to start paying attention to Tokai
Dang, I have to go to the store
Someone watch for me I don't care who you root for
Yikes! Tsukuba 25–23 ... can they pull a reverse sweep?
I doubt it. Seems like this is the lineup Tokai has been working toward all year. They haven't been 100%
Kanto Spring - 8th place
Kanto Autumn - 7th place
East Incare - 5th place
All Japan Super College ???
I can't decide what I think of this little girls' chorus kinda cute and one of them seems mic'd and comments during the play
Don't know who this Tokai #23 Yuka Shimada is
Dang, I have to go to the store
Someone watch for me
I don't care who you root for
.... and I was at the store
Tsukuba heard us.. they're responding, a fifth set seems imminent
Tie
Break
Tokai shouldn't have messed with that lineup

Either way this goes, it's been a super fun match
Haven't seen the Final yet but this would have been a great Final
These little girls are cracking me up
I can't tell who they are rooting for though
I don't know why they never offer stats for the All Japan Championship. They do for all the Spring and fall regional tournaments
Akane Abe struts around like a gunslinger. She's so awesome
What humdinger
Reverse Sweep
