This could be Serbia's saviour, Czechia's help to gain world ranking points (and who knows, finals week?) and also giving NL a win in front of home crowd. Although the setters will have to play more creative now so I expect more MB plays from them which can be very good

Italy and Brazil could clinch their Finals Berths with Wins, as both would push 24 (if going 5) and 23 points (<5 sets) respectively, and right now USA holding that last qualifying spot at 4 wins and 11 points, would get to a maximum of 8 wins and 23 points.
Cut line at Czech Republic in 9th is 8 wins max and 22 points max.
Serbia with a win would jump over Thailand and South Korea on points and Serbia is ahead of both on sets ratio right now, but with 0 wins, they are in last place.
For Italy losing one at tie break would be enough, they'd get to 8w/23 points and Czech Republic can at best get to 8w/22. I didn't do the exact math but I think it would be enough for Italy even just 1/2 sets in different matches or for Czech Republic to lose a few sets to be ahead on set ratio

I was driving from LA to SD, so I just watched here and there but I was surprised Santa started Cansu over Elif and Hande over Yaprak. Cansu won’t be able to block Ana C. and she didn’t do a good job so far. As predicted Ana C. is the heart and soul of current Brazilian team. Turkiye should include Karatasu for the next time around.

Are you sure that staying in the VNL for Serbia is good?They are losing a lot of wr points and they don't really consider it a top priority.Also I think that Korea should also be relegated because they have lost way too many wr points and they don't have good enough roster for vnl,imo.

It was the same Bukilic all the time but Lavarini decided to be gracious and let Centka play. That's why she played okayish today. With Centka our block-defence is not existing.

I did. She is bad but with Centka everyone can thrive in attack
She played above her standards not because she did something better than in previous matches but because Centka sucks in block. She was stopped only when Gryka was at the net.
