    Why??? He had Karatasu and Uyanik played so well he could have invited them and let them play even for a short period pf time just to keep them in game shape. Karakurt playing as an Opps is not a good option to trust it is a gamble, when she is in that mental state.

    Apparently Deniz is dealing w an injury which is why she has not seen the court.

    Great job girls literally nothing to complain about. So so good n every facet. Much much more to prove but at least we end the terrible competition with a great performance

    Congrats to Serbia they played very well. Luckily for Turkiye this game didn’t matter much, and it may even be better for them they lost the game. Let’s see how they will react on the finals.


    Now I am looking forward to USA vs Chiana game.

    I'm going to write my full thoughts later in the NT thread, but for now, I'm really happy we had at least one game where we showed what this group can do. They had it for stretches in many matches, but without much drop in quality over 3 sets is very encouraging. :heart:

    QF will be like:


    Italy - USA

    Poland - China (Considering China wins today)


    Brazil - Germany

    Japan - Turkey (Considering China wins today)

    This win doesn’t mean anything for this tournament but it means so much to the team. After 5 tie-break losses this team needed some winning to get the energy back and learn how to win. It’s great experience for many youngsters we have in team now on how to win.

    I wish Turkey was more tuned in so we could watch more competative game. They played they worst game this VNL and we didn’t let them get into it with how much girls were agressive and determined from beginning. Still happy about the win I just wish both teams were fresh and determined to compete so we can see where we stand.


    Lastly, I’ve been calling for Ivanovic-Uzelac duo for like 2 seasons, ever since they played together in club in 2022/23 and dominated Serbian league. Terzic can eat his words about young players not being as good as before cause I truly believe if they stay healthy they can be best OH duo Serbia had since Mihajlovic/Malesevic.

    Ivanovic looks like shorter Brankica who can actually pass really good. It was interesting to see Uzelac in more defensive OH role, never thought we’d see it lol.
