Yes that's why they should bring challenger cup back but if that's not happening it is better to include ranking points from Wch matches

I think the ranking system would be fine for major events (WCH/OG) due to the amount of games that take place over those qualification periods.

But for yearly events (VNL) I think its a terrible idea. Intercontinental play is needed, especially since they upped the ranking weight of these events to '30'. For the Americas, there's like two games to be able to earn points for them each tournament (since you cant earn them against VNL teams). Argentina gets Peru/Colombia, PUR/MEX get each other and occasionally Cuba.

The Challenger Cup at least offered the opportunity to be "im at least better than you". In a perfect world, it would be expanded to include a pool stage... to get more games/ranking points rather than straight knockouts.

Just to clarify: The teams in the European Leagues did not play twelve matches. Each team played three weekends, two games each, for a total of six matches. The two Silver League finalists and the four Golden League finalists had two more matches in the final.

But this is a structural problem in the composition of the federations, difficult to correct "statistically" without introducing discriminatory criteria...

Introducing a different "Match Weight Factor," for example, a higher one for NORCECA than for CEV (considering that there are fewer teams and, therefore, fewer matches), would create an excessive imbalance for the smaller European national teams...

It's the new third jersey, just started this season. They used it a couple of times in friendlies/university games/under competitions, but I don't think they did on vnl

Sylla is so bad this match. Italy is lucky US made so many errors in set 1.

You're totally right. For some reason I had in my mind the old formula when teams played each opponent twice.

Ukraine played 8 games, while Porto Rico played 3.

The imprecisions of Orro and Cambi are tragic. Almost every ball to pos.2 is too far from the net and the sets to pos.4 are unstable as well.
