Damaske

Maybe it's time to call for Szczurowska to return from Stambul before WCH

She was really good last season. I think Lavarini gave up her too early.
-
Oh god Polish guys are so handsome, it was a mistake giving finals to them.

am so out of loop. Wondering where Wolosz is

So heavy game but I am so happy

I would like to congratulate to China team for amazing fight to the end. They have great young players

It’s a good lesson for this young Chinese team, especially when Wu is slowed down by the opponent, they need to find a solution when LYY is not there.
Wu was unstoppable in the first three sets, but when she was finally blocked by Korneluk in the 4th set and then started to make errors, she became invisible on court and the setter even lost trust to set her in the deciding set but forced way too much sets to Gong. Gong however isn’t the one to be able to take over the “ace” role when their leading OH can’t score.
It also showed they need Yuan XY back. Her slide attacks were desperately missed to help lessen the burden of their OHs to side out. Gong is important to the Chinese team’s system, she helped lots of dirty works for the OHs but she’s indeed a liability to score. When you have Gong as Opp, you really need a good slider MB to help to score from the right side.
