Transfer Rumors & Discussion (2025/2026)

  • expectations: Wu Mengjie, Dong Yuhan, a promising youth

reality: Wang Yunlu or a former B Team player :gone:

  • Does the opp have to be Chinese/from the Fener deal? Today Akimova was back with Milano leaving Plak out, she def has a strong arm but I don't think she would be their saviour lol.

Seeing Zhuang YS in A1 (for real this time) would be so exciting :rose: and if Wu MJ would join her? My heart would explode

I think Plak is going to Indonesia after leaving Milano

  • Because Ana is like 10 times better than sillah who had like only two good games so far

IMO Sillah will be the best offensive OH in the world in a couple of years. What Conegliano needs is a good all around OH to replace Gabi when she will leave.

  • In fact, if Zhuang joined Cuneo in Season 24/25 (the rumor exists) , what would happen? No one knew it.

My favourite roster of Chinese (in 2022)
    male NT:
    S - Yu Yao-chen, Chen Lei-yang
OP - Jiang Chuan, Dai Qing-yao
    OH - Zhang Jing-yin, Yu Yuan-tai, Liu Li-bin, Fu Hou-wen
    MB - Zhang Zhe-jia, Peng Shi-kun, Li Yong-zhen, Jiang Zhen-yang
    L - Yang Yi-ming, Yang Tian-yuan

    female NT:
    S - Yao Di, Diao Lin-yu
    OP - Gong Xiang-yu, Sun Xiao-xuan
    OH - Li Ying-ying, Wang Yi-fan, Wu Meng-jie, Zhuang Yu-shan
MB - Yuan Xin-yue, Wang Yuan-yuan, Zheng Yi-xin, Liu Yu
    L - Ni Fei-fan, Xu Jia-nan

She has potential but she is too far behind other top offensive OHs like Zhu, Markova, Arina or Ana. And she isn't even that young so I don't see how her ceiling could be bigger considering all these players above was playing way better than sillah at her age. Markova is at similar age but better than sillah by far.

All in all, I have my doubts about sillah, with such a shaky reception/defense she just doesn't fit into conegliano system

  • Crazy season ahead of us in Serie A :white:

Piva and Lanier found some kind of chemistry but Li is definitely upgrad. Milano really looks deadly now :white:

Conegliano, Scandicci and Novara watch yourselves :box:

  • Ιt seems that Li will eventually play for Milano. That's great news. Unpopular opinion: A MB is mostly what Milano needs but I am definetely happy fo rthis transfer.

Hopefully Pietrini will be loaned to a lower level team where she can play more and regain shape/self confidence. It would be such a disaster for her future career to waste this entire season on a bench..

  • Where did you read this? I hope it's true.

It's not something I read somewhere, it's something I hope. But I doubt she is humble enough to understand that she needs to go to a lower level team like Bergamo, where Mlejnkova is struggling, Perugia, Macerata or even San Giovanni. With her current shape there's no way for her to see the court in a top team with high ambitions.

    You're absolutely right...

But I believe Pietrini's contract is too expensive for the Italian clubs you mention, even if Milan were willing (and they certainly will be) to shoulder any potential salary differential...

Perhaps only Vallefoglia or Chieri could afford it, but it remains to be seen whether they're interested in the deal...

Perhaps, if Pietrini doesn't significantly reduce her salary, she'll reluctantly stay in Milan or probably end up to a Turkish club...

But I'm confident Goldsport will find a way to fix the sistuation...
