    I wish Jovana will talk into more details on this topic in the future. She is one of the very few players who was coached by Terzic, Guidetti and Jenny Lang Ping. All three are some of the best coaches in recent volleyball history, but with very different styles. She must be able to give some unique and interesting insights if she is willing to talk about it.

    Azerbaijan league must be cursed. There are only terrible experiences and salary issues that plenty of athletes suffered there. Let's not forget Sara Anzanello died because of a disease she got while she was playing in Azerbaijan and that pathetic club Azzerail Baku refused to let her return to Italy for medical treatments when she was already extremely sick and showing signs of declining health.

    There are 19 players in NT camp as of last week (I don’t know if further cuts have been made). Some will be called to rejoin if needed after friendlies with Russia but it’s about it for the 18 player roster for 1st week of VNL.


    S: Perovic, Mirkovic, Rankovic

    OP: Bukilic, Zelenovic, Mijatovic

    OH: Uzelac, Dangubic, Ivanovic, Cajic, Milenkovic

    MB: Aleksic, Kurtagic, Osmajic, Kirov, Milojevic

    L: Pusic, Jegdic, Gocanin


    Milojevic is there for whatever reason, if I had to guess then she would be cut and we have 18 player roster

    My starters for 1st week:

    Perovic/Bukilic

    Uzelac/Ivanovic (Dangubic if needed)

    Kuratgic/Osmajic (Aleksic if needed)

    Jegdic or Pusic


    Team would be stronger with Dangubic and Aleksic but Uzelac/Ivanovic and Kurtagic/Osmajic duos are something we’ve been waiting for so long to see in NT.


    I would prefer Gocanin but based on training videos I see Terzic has Jegdic and Pusic in plan.


    Perovic is main setter on latest video from ossrb training with MBs in attack :drink:

    Tica, Tomic and Sajic were OHs sent home in order to focus on fewer players in training camp. Some on the list were never invited to join the camp at all, they were just names filling the roster up to 30 unfortunately.


    I am the most surprised about Tica, I would send Milenkovic home and keep her anyday :sos:

    Also if the trio of Uzelac/Dangubic/Ivanovic doesn’t slay this summer I might actually jump off a cliff.

    I will admit though that I was never high on Tica her season in Russia just being ignored so easily is a little weird and she deserved another chance in NT but I’m pretty content with our OH Pool right now so

    I feel that Russia will simply sweep Serbia in these friendlies, not because they are so superior, but the Russians are hungry to play internationally again, while Serbia does not have as much motivation and has to "save" itself for the VNL.

    well Boskovic also isn’t going to play I don’t think so

    Yesterday they did VNL Belgrade promotion. Started with a new commercial, spot included Aleksic, Dangubic, Luburic, Kujundzic and Nikolic.
