Both middle blockers scored more points than Yoshino. I'm going to take that as a good sign
but Yoshino's gotta wake up if Japan wants to keep advancing

How do we feel with the match against NL? They have tall middles and pins but I think the girls can tool against their blocks and abuse their weaker floor defence.

I'm a little nervous but if Wada and Yoshino are back up to speed I think we'll get it
-
I can only hope that Kitty overtakes Yoshino by next year

2026 is going to look very different with Valdes addition and we will have Hayashi again. It can even be an option to make Wada play OH so that we can have both Wada and Valdes play at the same time

Someone has to move to OH. Wada, Valdes Hayashi can't all play OPP

You forgot Akimoto lol but yeah that's why I said Wada has the option to play as OH along with Hayashi who I would still take over Yoshino any day

I didn't mention Akimoto because I feel like this isn't her time yet. Wada is peaking and once Valdes joins in, Valdes will be 2nd if she doesn't overtake Wada immediately
-
Wada and Valdes should be fixed as Opp. Miku can be universal but depends about her Germany stint if she will play as Oh or Opp there.
-
If Hayashi does comes back she's the one who should go to OH. But if you guys think she can attack or serve better than Yoshino you're dreaming
Kitty? I dunno. SAGA might have ruined her. She's displaying all the characteristics of old school wussy whack NT
No one here has any idea what kind of mental game Valdes is going to have at International level, but she does have the swagger. Her and Wada and Mayu seems like a strong group but I think being OH would kill Wada and Miku doesn't have it yet. She might never have OH skills. We don't know and so far coaches aren't swinging at itI know, I know, Yoshino has killed Japan NT for all of you
but comparing her to "what if" scenarios is just hoping. Personally I won't be surprised, or disappointed, honestly, if she fades away. I was mildly impressed that she didn't take her time in the doghouse this QF match to curl up into the fetal position and cry ... This is the big time. She's gotta find some mental strength or she will be gone -
Here's one: Hayashi's battle is going to be with Iwasawa

What's the deal with Kojima asking for god's help or whatever she's doing with all the praying and looking scared?
She doesn't need anyone's help

I hope he finally gets a genuinehughigh five if they manage to take a medal here, he really deserves it. He always looks and talks like a proud dad, give him some love! -
