Vakifbank actually have another option - Markova was good playing as an opposite for Novara.
If I’m not mistaken, they even used her in that role a bit last season. I guess that’s why they didn’t bother signing a serious backup opposite - they probably figure they can always slide Markova in there.
And honestly, she looks like she loves it - pure fun for her.
She’d probably even jump in as a middle blocker if needed, like she did back in the U.S.

And honestly, she looks like she loves it - pure fun for her.
She’d probably even jump in as a middle blocker if needed, like she did back in the U.S.Cazaute was also great as a receiving OPP in Milano the last season. She was not just good, but great. She was really confident attacking both from the position two and from the position one. So, if Boskovic is not able to play then Guidetti can try more than one different line ups.

And let’s not forget… Vakifbank still remembers that 2022 Supercup nightmare - 0:3 to Fener. Even the world’s best opposite can backfire if she hasn’t clicked with the team yet - back to Egonu’s debut in the 2022 Supercup opener. Ouch.

I’d like to take a look at Vakifbank II this year in case Vujovic plays but I can’t seem to find any of their games on youtube, not only from this season but previous seasons as well. -

Eventually I just saw some tweets of a friendly match between GS and VB and Boskovic was playing. Therefore I guess that she will be ready for the Supercup.

Any bottom level team (yeah i am also talking about this horror THY team) that can't destroy Aras with their serve gives them free attacking options (kalandadze,olaya, Anthoúli trio is golden for bottom teams).
And this thy team cant defend, dont really have serving power and they have no depth, gonna be a long season indeed
