Even before the transfer of Sylla, we had some discussions here about the OPPs/Setters duo and when I said Grobelna fits better with Naz and similarly Alexia fits better with Bongaerts. We saw exactly the same duos on court. In double subs, Alexia/Bongaerts replaced Naz and Grobelna. Which duo was more productive in this match? Well I can easily say, it was Alexia/Bongaerts duo.
Another couple of words about OH duo. İlkin and Sylla looked good for the 1st match of the season. Sylla did very good job, particularly at attack and İlkin played a game changer role in the 2nd and 3 set. Thank you Sylla and you are welcome. Now is Lukasik's turn and look forward to seeing her in upcoming matches. It would be difficult for Frantti to find a spot, unless any unexpected injury happens.
Middles of GS should improve more, otherwise they might face some difficulties in the coming matches.
Finally, I was not expecting such a resistance by Aydın Büyükşehir. They were good at block and floor defence and not bad at attack. Since the srtucture of the team newly built, they lost because of their anxiety at the last moments.

In first 2 sets which were really competative and Zeren won 1 she had

I think my words were misunderstood — my comparison with Şeyma was more to emphasize that Saliha just isn’t good enough.
With Şeyma, you expect solid defense and reception, knowing she won’t contribute much in attack — and she consistently met those expectations last season. But what do you really expect from Saliha? She’s neither good in attack nor in reception. Zeren needs a local player like İlkin or Yaprak in that role, and Saliha simply isn’t that player.
I think Saliha could do well, she is just lacking consistency. She could develop to all around OH after a year of playing regularly. Her peak games were pretty good

Zeren needs some time. They are so new to each other except Malinov and Uzelac. I couldn’t understand why they didnt get a better Turkish setter as backup or as first choice for league. Naz could be so helpful.

You can watch all the games on YouTube here in Türkiye. Maybe they are geoblocked now and cannot be wached without a VPN anymore.
TRT-spor broadcast 4 matches live on last Sunday. That's a record. I don't remember them broadcasting more than two games a day before.

They were geoblocked when it was live.
Then even for Turkish viewers they weren’t available after live stream finished.
Only later did the full streams become available to watch after and in the end lastly they unblocked it for foreign audience.I guess social media rage worked
