    Its really a pity that this round is best of 3 and especially play-offs 1-4. We are waiting whole year for this moment and its almost done in two games.

    Not true, you cant reference on shitty volleystation statistics, in first set Karakurt had at least three negative receptions and many of her "positive" ones are too sharp or to low or missplaced (net wise) so it is hard for Elif to set middles.

    I mean its kind of getting ridiculous watching Tijana and Marina just absolutely smash ball after ball with no resistance as if there isnt giant blockers on the other side

    Cansu opened MVP mode again in the most important time of the season.

    No one can stop this vakifbank if they stay a little bit more stable at reception

    Maybe Guidetti wants to court time to Ogbogu before CL.

    Vakifbank is in shape that is level above Ecza and Fener it seems so far.
    One thing that is gonna be interesting is seeing how they perform against motivated Fener (if we get that at all after CL and cup losses) and Imoco in CL.


    Eczacibasi has one of the best blocks in the world and still Vakif is scoring easily.
    Imoco has great defence but it’s gonna be interesting to watch the game if Vakif continues with their sharp attacks and Cansu’s great tempo sets to 4 and 2.
    Most of Vakif’s kills from Markovic is just sharp balls against tall block and Imoco is famous for their libero and zone 6 defense while currently Vakif isn’t even scoring on those areas, they are hitting it to zone 4 and 1 90% of the time.


    I feel like Imoco-Vakif is gonna be battle of coaches, both teams obviously have great great roster with very little weskness when in top shape.

    As always Vakifbank and it's players reaching full potential at the right moment. IMO there is still plenty room for improvement, but it really looks like they have everything under control in any moment. Cansu loading Boskovic and Markova perfectly in recent games, feeling the momentum (bad or good) perfectly.

    What are you even talking about?🤦 She had MANY positive sets and quite a few excellent ones which could definitely be used to set middles.


    Anyways middles weren't scoring even when they get sets. I would have started with Dilay next game. Not that Elif is bad but I think Guidetti already figured her out so all Eczacıbaşı attackers were followed by established blocks all the time. Dilay is very creative and her style isn't decoded yet.


    Well done to Vakıfbank as a team. Markova attacking with 72% with zero mistake or block is just out of this world:obey::obey::obey: a also both boskovic and Zehra were on fire and supported Markova well. I don't understand Derya/Ogbogu experiment of Guidetti but so far It seems like working somehow.


    Extra kudos to Cansu, her impact on Vakıfbank's beautiful game play is similar to Wolosz to Conegliano. Getting the best of so many start players is definitely a skill itself. During the after game interview, she said that she and boskovic struggled in the beginning of season to get a good connection but now she knows what kind of sets Boskovic wants so they have a very good connection.


    About Eczacıbaşı, I think they played even better than Turkish Cup final but simply Vakıfbank also played better. I think Eczacıbaşı can beat scandicci if their MBs would contribute as they did throughout season (not like today). Ebrar played like a star although her team lost. She was targeted at reception (almost half of all reception attempts) but she dealt well, especially in the first half. Also she could score against established triple blocks many times:obey:


    It is dumb that they are playing only best of 3 instead of best of 5🤦 we didn't even get playoffs, at least let us have best of 5 for semis:down:

    I always hated how Finals was a single game.

    I get the idea that it should be all or nothing and it is more epic and higher stakes when it’s single game, but I’d rly like playoffs to be series :obey:

    Yeah it’s too exhausting to do 2 playoffs series in a month but we can dream

    I would also prefer it like NBA finals (best of 7 series) but logistically could be a nightmare for teams with so many back and forth btw Italy & Turkey.


    Regarding Vakif, I’m curious to see if Guidetti will keep the same starting 6 against Imoco or replace Derya with Cazaute. While I think Cazaute is a better overall player, it could hurt the rhythm of the team if he plays all remaining local games with Derya and suddenly inserts Cazaute for one game.
