    I do not think that any coach could prefer Lazareva. First of all Tolok plays in a team of the highest level and second she is much younger than Anna and with more potential. As an OH she will not have a chance because apparently it is impossible to play with 4 offensive players. It would be Markova, Arina, Voronkova and Kapustina ( if she is in the same level as she was before her pregnancy).

    Also do not forget the difference of the level between the clubs and the NT. Marina+ Voronkova or Kapustina + Tolok ( + a high level coach) are more than enough to dominate with characteristic ease in all competitions for a lot of years.

    What highest level? She plays for 4th club in Italy and Lazareva will play for Zeren who is going to be 4th/5th club in Turkey. So there's no such a big difference as you exaggerate, like always you do🤦


    By the way, Voronkova is not an offensive Oh like Markova or Arina, if anything she is a more balance Oh.

    Zeren will be.... Novara is one of the best teams in the world in the best championship in the world and the only team that manage to win and pressure Imoco....

    About Voronkova I agree with you and that's was my point. I said that Russia will not play with 4 offensive OH, so they will apparently peak Marina and Arina and two more balanced players like Kapustina and Voronkova ( Parubets could be perfect but if I remember right she will retire).

    If I remember right it was her decision and she announced it to Bernardi. He just agreed but to be honest I do not think that he really want it. In the next season Novara will have Tolok, Ishi, Lina and Herbots in the OH and only Mims in the OPP.... I guess the team wanted to extend her contract and they thought that after time they will persuade her to play as an OPP again.

    I think we can finally put an end to the change to Markova's change in sports citizenship.. she will be playing 100% for Russia

    I love Goncharova and for her years of service to the team but there are at least 3 Russian opposites that are better than her at the moment. It's the perfect time for her to retire.
