I agree with Matthias here, after the disaster against Finland we can no longer afford experiments, especially not in front of our home fans. Certainly we have to win the game against Switzerland according to German self-image. But you shouldn't underestimate Switzerland. They dominated the silver League without their two top stars and showed with their top stars in the tests against Spain that they can keep up with Golden League teams.

As far as I know, you can't geoblock on Twitch. At least, that was the case in the past, so Spontent has to broadcast the Floorball World Championship on YouTube because it only has the rights for the DACH region.
But it's a real bummer that the DVV isn't able to at least get this game livestreamed on a public broadcaster. The DVV needs to rethink where to hold the international matches. Unlike HR – NDR, SWR, RBB, BR and MDR have shown interest in volleyball broadcasts. Therefore, they should focus on those regions.

It's new to me that it's now marked with ❌. I still remember the 🟡 marking, and I could still understand that marking. Sportdeutschland.TV holds various rights to CEV broadcasts, especially the European Championship and Champions League.
Sportdeutschland.tv also secures individual rights to CEV Cup, CEV Challenge Cup, and European Championship qualifying matches, meaning these cannot be watched via CEV in Germany. But that only applies to individual games, and all others can be watched via CEV without any problems.
At least, that's been my experience so far. For example, I've watched the Golden League and Silver League via a subscription to the CEV YouTube channel this year and I'm currently also watching the European Championship qualifiers.

I watched only 3rd set but Swiss performance was disappointing. German team could dominate without doing anything spectacular, just doing the basic stuff well.

To understand Spontent's Twitch broadcast of the game, I think you need a little background knowledge. Spontent is already a force in beach volleyball and men's volleyball. Not so in women's volleyball. After last year's friendly match in Potsdam, this was the second women's volleyball match they broadcast.
Because Spontent is quite popular, they probably hoped that, despite the short notice, more people would watch it than with a YouTube stream. So, the DVV has nothing fundamentally against YouTube, they broadcast enough stuff there. I would attribute the short notice to the fact that the commentators were in the Spontent studio in Düsseldorf and not on-site in Wiesbaden.
