if they're sticking to shorties they should've gotten wada instead of bracchi
Wada has 1 year left on her contract with NEC but even then I'm pretty sure she'll choose LOVB

Sato works too
I don't know that team very well but they're such a random bunch and the physical aspect is missing. They should at least consult with Fener
While checking the rosters, I've noticed that this season a lot of mediocre opposites will be starters in serie A besides the top 4 teams.
This season Serie A has:
Although top 4 Italian and Turkish clubs are comparable, Turkish clubs 5-14th are better than Italian ones this season. The gap between top teams with bottom ones are increasing over the years in serie a while it is other way around in sultanlar ligi.
As a comparison, sultanlar ligi has these opposites:
Nikolova might be the only low level Opp that will be starter in sultanlar ligi this season and it is because of dumb Bahçelievler not transferring anyone until last minute and deciding not to withdraw from the league 🤦
Literally after second position, every OPP is average af expect Lazareva in TL, what are you talking about ![]()

And as long as you have such weak and low level local players they will never be good as Italian middle level teams. And Turkish clubs can’t pull something like Busto has done it. And they have done it first of all because of local players, carried by Piva. Something that Derya can only dream about it.

All turkish nt players carried mid level teams when they were even younger than piva 🤣 ignorance is bliss
Almost all opps below 4th place are better than the one in Italy.
You have diouf who jumps 5 cm😂
Almost 40 years old ortolani
Weske and bukilic who were the big flops of summer.
Mediocre players like obossa, diop and malual 😶
These players couldn't have been even on the bench years ago in serie a. Pity that the level dropped so drastically below top 4🤷
We are gone be just fine with all international CUPs ones again in both NT and club season, I hope you enjoy in time of Italian domination ![]()
Regular season did not even start and you're having this discussion already. What about making a separate thread to compare Italy/Turkey so we normal users are not bothered?

This season Serie A has:
- Haak

- Bici
- Kipp/Weske

Didn't you learn ? Anthi is out for the whole season. Also Williams will start in Perugia if I remember right. So, Turkey has Nikolova, Rasinska, Atkinson, Adelusi while on the other hand Italy has Ortolani, Bukilic, Diop, Decortes. A little bit worst but I do not think that there is any substantive difference.
This is a drama that could fuel months of highly intelligent discussion...
Italian locals are stronger than the turkish ones. And the 4th foreign on court helps. On the other hand Serdar has a point when he says middle and low level teams may be stronger, because italian teams have very limitated budjets outside of the top 4 and they really struggle to sign high level foreigners.
Once upon a time you could see players like Turlea and Bown in Santeramo, Aurea Cruz and Sekulic in Tortolì, Glinka and Poljak in Vicenza, Kenny Moreno in Forlì, Fofinha in Altamura, Ornavasso managed to have Logan Tom for few months... World class of very established players with great careers were filling all the teams from Serie A1...
Right now italian mid teams can only afford cheaper and rookie foreign players.
So the truth stands in the middle IMHO.

It is true and really you can also mention names from the recent past. In 2022/2023 season Casalmaggiore had Frantti ( the starting OH for USA back then) Carlini (!!!), Dimitrova and Lohuis while Bergamo had Lanier and Butigan and Firenze had Herbot , Knollema, Adeludi, Nwakalor, Cambi , Alhassan and Sylves. Megabox had Hancock, Kosheleva, Drews, Aleksic.... And I can continue.
Now the Italian teams have less good foreigns compared to Turkey but the 4rth foreign and the depth / quality of the locals still make the difference.

That's what I meant. I don't know why people are so triggered🤦 (I couldn't care less, hide my messages if you guys are annoyed)
Serie a's biggest difference from other leagues were the small gap between top teams and relegation teams. The quality of foreigners in mid and low level Italian teams were insane in last two decades. Playing even in the worst Italian club would require a certain level. I pointed out this recent change while Turkish league is going to opposite direction. For many years it was only Vakıfbank vs Eczacıbaşı. Then Fenerbahçe joined to these two. Then we had GS investing a lot. In recent years, mid and low ranked clubs thy, Zeren, Kuzeyboru improved drastically. Except Bahçelievler, all Turkish clubs have really good foreigners this season.
By the way, how Italian local pool is stronger while 18 years old Turkish teenager will be starter in a mid level Italian club?![]()
Busto is leading 2:0 against Galatasaray in friendly match.
-And Galatasaray is even weaker in TL because they can’t use 4 foreign players as they are doing in today match.
-And Busto is playing with 3 foreign players, but they doesn’t need to use all foreign spots because of good domestic players.
-Obossa outplaying Alexia C.
Ones against Serie A is showing how many good middle level teams they have, and they can challenge even bigger clubs. That is something that TL doesn’t have. That is why Serie A is the best league in the World. Proved last two season, and this season is not going to be any different.

OMG, i don't know if you noticed that most of Galatasaray's foreign players (Sylla, Bongaerts , Lukasik) are national team players and they just joined the team after the national team season is over, and therefore they need more time to build chemistry, this is just a friendly match, calm down![]()
Busto easily has beaten Galatasaray 3:0 in friendly match.
Proud at Busto, they showed that they can challenge even top clubs from Tukey.
Friendly matches are opportunities for the teams to prepare for the season.
Until recently, I wasn't aware that these days it has become the same for forum members ![]()
