I was gonna say that when Gatina got this surprisingly great set with 1 blocker in front of her, I thought it was over lol

Yea and kind of unlike her, she is not the most dominant spiker but usually doesn't make these silly mistakes... Girl move the ball anywhere but that side of the court lol.

Too bad Zeren couldn't pull the surprise, but what a fun game! They really pushed Imoco to play better than they've recently done. If the OHs can find some more shots/maybe learn how to use the block they can even be better. Both them and Novara showed that even though they are the wild card teams, they are able to compete for the next round spots with their level

Thanks for giving the wild card to Zeren so we could watch this instead of another boring round robin match the top teams crushing a team from a random league.

However, Imoco has been playing terribly this season, with no improvement in sight. They've consistently played well in previous years, so either they've changed something in their preparations, or this could be the end of this lineup for this team with Santarelli on the bench. In this form they could even have trouble in Italy if the other teams don't lose mentally.
