CEV Champions League 2026

  • Anyway, I don't care. It's clear that after 2 years of total domination, this will have to reverse. The bigger problem will be that without increasing the budgets of the top clubs in the Italian league, the gap with the Turkish league will only widen.

If you are really that worried to have to post 4 times in a few minutes on the same speech, why don’t you suggest the Italian clubs to pour some money to a Polish club as a neutral host of F4? Then all Turkish clubs only except Ecz will be missing their key players due to visa denials

  • Imoco will def. win 3-0 next time, that was an accident. Any that still doesnt change anything.

F4 used to be held in places like Tenerife, Cannes and Zurich. The last time it was held in Poland was in 2015: Chemik. It's also a bit lacking in variety, like it was recently.

  • Milano is so cooked. Scoring 9 points from the middle in 5 sets is just crazy. Rettke is one person and scored 10 attacks, while Danesi and Kurtagic are two players and scored 9 attacks together:sos::sos::sos:. Egonu, Piva and Lanier can not do much more that they already do, which is normal. They perform really good as pins. Also, the reception is not an excuses. Today, Bosio had her chances and she just didn't utilize the MB. Her connection with Danesi today was great. Probably the best connection that they had all the season but she just forgot her in the corner. In the first set, I think that she gave only one ball to Kurtagic, she got blocked and that's it for one set.

This shows how deep this problem affects the team and there is no way to achieve anything, if she do not transfer one stronge attacker for the middle.

Well deserved MVP from Jack and Elif also deserves credits. She killed some really tough slide attacks.

  • I don't know why it's so difficult for Lavarini to make a simple substitution of Bosio for Miner.

He treats her as if she were Venturini or Kirilova.

The Italian has enormous difficulty feeding her MBs; in the first set she set 2 balls, while Danesi received 6 balls the entire match.

The fact that Velasco doesn't want anything to do with her in Italia NT should be a huge red flag.

  • What a game by jack!:obey: she was on fire again today. And people say Turkey is lacking good local MBs 😂

Another kUdos to Elif! She has so much BALLS at such a young age for a setter. Setting so many times to MBs in difficult positions:white: it is a pity that Dilay is wasted in Eczacıbaşı while she could be easily starter in Zerenspor or THY right now😭

EBrat's reception is so solid:obey: looking forward to seeing her in NT this summer.

Stysiak is having a terrible season. I think she was doing right thing by being bench queen in big clubs in last 5 years. It seems like she is flop queen as starter. I wouldnt be surprised if smrek would take over starting spot in a month or two.

  • Idk why anyone thought Stysiak would have a good season to begin with lol. Also pushing the agenda to sinead being a good local middle is a stretch but I guess technically she has a Turkish passport lol….

  • also I will give credit to Ecza that is a great result for them but I think this is a very bad showing for Milano. This Ecza team is not that great….

Well, the hope for Stysiak was that once she gets a regular playing time again, she may be back to her ~2022/2023 shape from the NT seasons or her better Monza or Scandicci days. That's not the case, lol, and I never really believed it, but there was some logic to that.

  • just admit that bosio is awful. she's not good, she's not better than orro. she's awful plain and simple. i don't know why some of you feel the deep need to shield her from the fact that she's a mediocre setter. she has to go

To compete in top 3, setters have to be able to effectively run their mids. Bosio clearly has severe problems finding Danesi and Hena, and blockers on other team are fully aware of this. Wonder how many of the few balls to the mid were set by Miner in the double sub…

Bosio was not connecting well with Aleksic at Novara before so it's not surprising she doesn't utilize Kurtagic and Danesi better

  • While I still find Cambi's setting sometimes messy and inconsistent, the fact that she can feed her middles sets her apart from Bosio.

I find both cambi and bosio equally bad. Both has major weaknesses. The level drop from Orro to these two is huge. Cambi could be a good double sub setter at best. I'm really curious what Italy will do in case orro really takes the summer off

  • Do you really wanna go there? Having the best Serbian opposite bukiliç? Lol🤣

that isn’t the point? My point is naturalizing jack points to a LACK of good middles and the need to change passports of good ones. Also if you wanna be cheeky without naturalizing Vargas and Alexia I’m not sure whoever the back up to Ebrar would be is any better than Bukilic lmao….
