Easy to blame Cate, who I agree isn't really good enough for this level at this stage in her career, but who is it who's playing well for Scandicci in these last 2 sets? It's not 1 player's fault that the team is a total mess right now.

I don't think anybody blames Cate alone for the mess Scamdicci (pun intended) has shown in the last two sets. The team as a whole is just not working
Since she is not playing great either, I would try Ruddins anyway, can't do that much harm

I mean this nice storyline, but just if we ignore the fact that Stysiak have 20 points in three sets. Nice contribution from others and Stysiak isn't considered like super OPP, but she is playing like one today, that's for sure.

Stysiak should get the credit for playing like a super opp, she is at the same level of Antropova today if not better. But it is true that Elif is playing with more people and they share the score better, bregoli also used backup OHs very well

Her passing and defence is only OK, she brings some stability. But not enough to cancel out her weak attacking, I agree.

Watching block-defense of both of these teams after just watching Conegliano feels very underwhelming. How much space there is left for cross court attack is crazy to me lol

Sure criticise Cate. But also mention the block doing nothing, Maja struggling to connect with Skinner, Antropova's level dipping, Skinner passing poorly. There's a lot of things going wrong for Scandicci and it's not just Bosetti.
