  • I watched the end of Shanghai vs Bauru, a good comeback for them in the fifth set! :box: I was hoping to watch the NL game as well now, but it looks like all the volleyball streams are focusing on Japan in VNL atm (rightfully so).

I assume Vietnam beat Canada in the second QF?

the volleybalmeiden account shared a link in their stories but that one is not working right?

So, what's the schedule for the semis... and where can we watch them live and replays, especially those matches where Li Chen-Xuan played like China u21 vs Vietnam.

Also are there replays of Fisu matches ? 2 years ago (Chengdu) every match was streamed live

*I have problems with the fisu TV

    Thanks :)

  • The live stream works... it's quite good quality with commentary. I'm following from set 2. China u21 is ahead 1-0. By right China u21 cannot lose a match to Shanghai u21...it's illogical. However, this set is very close. I noticed that China no 7 who did well against Slovenia is not playing

  • I also watched a bit of set 2, and I would like to add that Shanghai looks a lot more organised than in the games vs. NL and Bauru! Maybe because the playing style is more similar than what they're used to or because they know the opponent better?

I'm excited to see what NL can do vs. Vietnam, although my hopes are not too high anymore after barely beating France. Is the Vietnam team more or less the same as the senior NT (who would compete in WCH) or does it play with a lot of youngsters under the "senior" name?

It's basically their senior team without 4T and Bich Tuyen

  • u21 Coach need to reexamine his team selection and strategy. His wing spikers are only okay-ish and other aspects need to improve. Team synergy is lacking and court coverage is only so so. The opponent's tipping and blocking is often left unprotected.

I'm just wondering if Dong Yuhan, Fan Boning and Wang Aoqian are eligible to play since they are included in the wide roster?

  • Thank you! Wow, so this is a great opportunity for the Dutch teenagers (and Pippa) to get some experience playing against such a team. I know 4T and Bich Tuyen are their big names but still... Hope they can put up a nice fight :box:

Interesting match up... the NL team is taller I think, mb Pham Thi Hien is only 172 cm. Hopefully their experience can make up for their lack in size, but we'll see..

    :cheesy:
